Job done quickly and correctly.

Worked with Lapota for 2 repairs. 1st was a roof leak repair that a different company (the one that put on the roof 7 years ago) tried to fix 4 times and failed (actually made it much worse). Lucas from Lapota found the problem in 15 minutes and it was simple enough for me to fix, so he did not even charge me. 5+ stars for this. 2nd issue was two leaking windows (this is a condo association). They have a minimum charge of $2k, so this might not be the best option for small repairs, but since they did not charge for the 1st repair, I felt it evened out. They caulked around both windows, seemed to be fixed until yesterday when one window had water intrusion again. I'll be calling on Monday. My experience has been that this is a reputable company so I am confident they'll stand behind their work. I will change to 5 stars if they do. So, in summary, this seems to be a good company but due to their minimum, probably best for projects that would normally cost $2k or more.

Honest and good professional

Poor communication and customer service. Equipment breakdowns then I had to call to get them back. Then showed up when it was raining and could not work anyways. Asked for paperwork on warranty and still waiting.

What started out with a ridge vent repair ended up with a complete roof replacement all due to wind damage which I couldn't see or know of from the ground. Wind damaged the vent and then some. A claim was filed with our insurance company. They approved the claim. Lucas did all the leg work with the insurance company which was a big relief for me. Did not have to initiate any phone calls. Installation came and went in one day. 40 square job. The crew didn't miss a step. Job well done, including clean up of all debris AND NAILS. Working with Lucas was a pleasure. No pressure. Very straight forward with everything. As I said it was a big job and well done! Glad I had them do the work. Very very pleased.

Originally, came for a simple repair, after starting work discovered larger problem from a pryer installation not related to them. Gave us an honest cost wuote, the work was done quickly, and very professionally, and I was very pleased with the company.

John called me back promptly after I called about a leaky roof. He came to my house, inspected inside and outside and resolved the issue temporarily without expecting a payment. He lives by The Golden Rule. We discussed what needed to be done for a long-term resolution and he gave me a very competitive bid for my roof issues. In addition, I opted to apply a shingle treatment that extended the life of my shingles. He and his team were polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. They picked up debris after they were finished and put a protective canvas over bushes to protect them. I heartily recommend Lapota Contracting for roofing.

John made a very good first impression, he went above and beyond to make sure he knew what the job entailed. He went up on the roof to inspect while other contractors did not. John took the time to explain in detail and to assure me that I did not need new gutters. He worked with his crew so I knew the job would be done correctly.
