BEWARE - if you sign on with this company you are basically agreeing for them to damage your property and not be held liable!! my driveway was damaged from their heavy machinery. we have multiple holes and indentations through out the area where there were working. we were not told that this type of damage may or could happen with the machines they were planning on bringing. If we would have been aware, we wouldnt of gotten the service done to begin with. once i noticed the damage the evening after they had finished, i contacted the office manager the next day. .never heard back. contacted again the next day and told the owner would be in contact with me. owner never contacted me. i contacted the owner personally 5 days later, as to where he stated "your driveway is old and falling apart". he told me that heavy machinery can cause this type of damage. he then argued and said that per the contract, he is not held liable to fix any damage they caused and they dont have to do anything even though, he is admitting it was probable damage caused from their machinery. owner made it seem like i wanted him to replace my entire driveway. i was not interested in having my entire driveway fixed, only the holes fixed from their machinery where they did the landscaping. owner also said he came to my house on a friday to assess the damage and knocked on my door, but i was home all day and also have cameras around my house and there was no trace of him. he was very argumentative, hostile and rude. per their "contract" it says "they are not responsible for any unforseen damages" BUT according to the owner, he kept stating it was likely to happen to my "old and falling apart" driveway. the contract also states there would be preventative measures taken to protect my property but nothing was put in place such as matting. owner offered to cold seal the holes in my driveway but at this point, how do you trust a company that already caused damage and is angry that you are upset your property was damaged?? i really wish we could go back in time and save ourselves from this headache. Humility goes a long way! also to note, the mulching done in the front was subpar. old mulch is still visable in the garden beds and the decorative rocks were not moved so there is no new mulch under the rocks.

Four months after the deadline date had been set and still, the job was only halfway finished. We specifically said we wanted him working the job, not subbing it out. He never pounded a single nail and said that by riding by he was checking the job. No refuse containers were brought to the job and finally, when we complained about the mess (I wish I could attach photos), he told us to **get f-ed**. In the fourth month, when, again, no one showed up to work on a perfect weather day, I called to complain and he called me an **f****g miserable b***h** and told me to watch my back. That is when I called the police to report the threat. We ended up having to hire a lawyer to protect us against Chris Laneve. This experience was a nightmare.

Personable knowledgeable and professional

Chris did a great job on two very difficult trees. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the speed and Chris s knowledge of proper tree trimming and care.

Removed a large dead ash with a broken 8 inch branch precariously situated above my shed. Chis and his crew used ingenuity and skill to SAFELY remove this branch which, if it hit my shed, would have destroyed it. Pride in workmanship would sum it up. I enjoyed watching them as much as they enjoyed the challenge.

Chris and his crew were great all around.. from their customer service to the pride they take in their work... they're meticulous at trimming and pruning and with cleanup... The only way I knew they came was that the trees looked so good. Chris called often to give a status update too...so happy I found them on Home Advisors I'll be using Lawn 2 Lanai again!! Many thanks for a beautiful job!

Called Lawn 2 Lanai at 8:30 am for a foot diameter tree that fell across my driveway. They were there at 1:30. cost was more than reasonable. Highly recommend their services for tree service.
