"Thank you for allowing me to visit with you regarding your experience. We started services for Fertilization and Weed Control for your lawn in June 2023. Due to the start date, the window for applying our pre-emergents had passed and more weeds than normal could be expected for the remainder of 2023. In late summer of 2023, there were some dry issues in the lawn which was addressed with your husband who indicated the sprinklers "skip sometimes." Dry conditions can cause less than desirable color in lawns. In early May 2024, we diagnosed your lawn with a disease called Large Patch. The cost of the additional treatment was $65. This is a service outside of your regularly scheduled maintenance that you agreed to complete. The fungicide application was applied and the disease was controlled. Regrettably, your lawn encountered another problem in June of 2024 with a lawn insect called Chinch Bugs. Zoysia (your dominate lawn grass) can have a tendency to be more susceptible to disease and insect issues. We did quote $65 to address this issue as it is outside of your regular lawn maintenance but we have not completed this service since we did not receive permission to do so. Russ asked on 2 occasions, via his phone call with you, to meet with you at your property to discuss these problems and assist in solving them. You repeatedly told him on the phone call that you wanted to cancel your service with us. Our desire was not to cancel your service. Regarding your regular technician, I am still not clear on your inference he seemed "out of it." This gentleman is quiet, knowledgeable, humble and hardworking. If he gave any other impression, I am truly sorry. We demand a lot of our technicians....they have a very physical job that requires them to walk a great deal on a daily basis in the heat, cold and other conditions. Perhaps he was just physically exhausted on the day in question. Again, I thank you for talking with me and we are ready to assist you in any way we can if allowed.
