I will recommend dealing with this contractor unless you get a written contract to begin, he billed more then quoted and agreed upon price.

Very professional. Due to weather the job is not finished but Mr. Lawson has kept me up to date on when he will finish the job.

A BOY WITH A CHAINSAW DOES NOT EQUAL A BUSINESS!! When Mr Lawson came to give his estimate, another business man didn?t show up. Mr Lawson said he always shows up when he says he will. I know now that was a big JOKE. He didn?t listen to how I wanted the tree trimmed. He cut off the wrong side. I had to tell him again to cut off the side hanging over the road. There?s nothing I can do about the part he?d already cut. Then he said the truck was full, he?d come back ?tomorrow? to do the other tree. That was code for NEVER. It has now been 2 weeks. I?ve called him 3 times. He says he?s been busy and he will call me before he comes. Today he said ? That tree is in the back yard anyway and it?s not hurting anything.? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT THE JOB FINISHED

They did a very good job. They cut down a dozen large pines and cleaned up as they went. They did the work quickly and at a reasonable price. Will hire them again.

He didn't show up the first time and didn't bother calling. Didn't answer my calls, either, until I told him I was finding someone else. He was over 75 minutes late the second time. The owner was rude and treated his "employee" terribly. When his employee asked about my fence, I actually heard the owner say, I don't care about any fence, we're in a hurry. Luckily his employee, who seemed to do all of the work and get paid very little, was kind enough to not take out my fence. If I hadn't been so terrified of this massive, dead tree falling on my house in the tropical storm, I would have sent him packing right away. I didn't have time to find anyone else, however, and I prefer my pets (and my house) unsquished. As it is, I feel guilty for using him and promoting his terrible treatment of his employee. Then he had me make the check out to him personally, not his company and went to my bank to try to cash the check instead of his. Of course, they wouldn't cash it without talking to us, which he at first seemed to get into his head was a problem on our end. He did finally realize it was merely a safety check for our benefit and calmed down. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I had it to do over, I certainly wouldn't!

Have recommended them! If its raining he still does it! Does great work!

Just great, having him do everything and having him get back to you is so refreshing, he worked with what I wanted done did EXACTLY what he said he would do EXACTLY when he said he would do it.
