Lazarus Hauling did an AWESOME job! They arrived on time, came with the right equipment, worked like the professionals they are, and finished in a timely manner! I will DEFINITELY hire them again if I need something done, and will recommend them to others also! I called Josh at Lazarus Hauling, and they came within a couple days. So impressed with there work!!! They dug up the 'crappy' dirt, filled in with top soil, and then grass seed. They removed the remaining retaining wall blocks, and put all of them back professionally! Then they added dirt to fill. YES, I love it, and no one has to look at that eye-sore any longer!!! I'm very happy!!! Now, about the job I had done: The water department here in Eldora, said there was a water leak underground, that I had to have repaired. The excavators dug from my front door, all the way to the sidewalk. Dug a trench 5 or 6 feet wide, and 9 feet deep. I needed a sump pump put in also, because the lines underground were illegal these days. The house was built in 1956. After they finished filling all that back in, they proceeded with the sump pump. They first had to move retaining wall border in the front, before they could dig. Like all new houses, before they back fill the ground by the house, junk gets thrown in. There happened to be lots of broken bricks, broken glass, and other junk. It then gets buried, which is a normal. The excavator said it was 'crappy' dirt, which I could see myself. They put a big 'tube' in the ground which probably was 18" by probably close to 8' down. That's a lot of dirt that won't fit back in the hole. Now this 'crappy' dirt that was extra? They piled it in the yard where they filled the water lines! Why would anyone, especially an excavating company leave it like that??? I'm sure THEY knew there was going to be a lot of dirt left over, so they should have set that in my driveway. Then they should have dumped the bad dirt in first, then the good dirt to finish. Now the extra dirt could have been piled on the other spot. They didn't put the retaining wall blocks back either. When the punched a hole through for the PVC drain, it disturbed all surrounding blocks, which were now lose. At the time, I wasn't very concerned because I had a contractor coming to do concrete work, and he would dispose of it. He obviously didn't want the job, but never told me. Now I needed another contractor. Waited on one that was on an extended vacation. He came back right before winter, and didn't want the job. I had waited 4 months for him, now had to wait for Spring, only to get blown off by the next one. A woman I know had relatives here, and they never returned a call, nor stopped by. I had even called the excavating company, and asked why they left that 'crappy' dirt on top. The boss called back, and was very rude, and kept saying "you call after a year, and complain?" Yes, because I had no idea I couldn't find anyone. Your guys NEVER should have left it this way. How w
