MD Mold provides comprehensive mold inspections backed by laboratory-grade DNA testing. Our approach goes far beyond basic air sampling and microscope spore counts. Our Inspection Process Includes: • Full roof-to-ground exterior inspection to identify moisture entry points • Complete interior assessment with thermal imaging and moisture mapping • HVAC system inspection for mold-prone conditions and contamination • Collection of air, surface (swab), and dust samples • All samples analyzed in our in-house laboratory Why qPCR Mold Testing Matters Traditional mold testing relies on visual spore counts, which cannot reliably determine whether mold is toxic, allergenic, or actively growing. We use qPCR (quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology to: • Detect mold using DNA-based identification • Target specific molds associated with allergens and mycotoxins • Identify mold that may be hidden • Deliver objective, defensible data for remediation decisions
