"Hi Ali, I?m sorry to hear about your frustration, but I would like to clarify a few things regarding your review. We completed your landscape and irrigation project in January 2025, after you had previously worked with another landscaping company and were unhappy with their work. When we came in, we worked with you on the original scope, and as the project progressed, additional work was requested. We discussed the scope and pricing with you and made adjustments before completing the project. At the time the project was completed, my understanding was that you were satisfied with our work. You mentioned in your review that the valves began leaking only a few weeks after the project was completed; however, I was never contacted or made aware of those issues at that time. Had you contacted me, I would have gladly come out to inspect them. The first time you contacted me regarding the recent backyard valve leak was on Saturday, August 29, 2026, more than a year and a half after we completed the project. I told you I was planning to stop by to inspect the problem. I understand that you considered the leak an emergency and decided that you could not wait until Monday, so you hired someone else to make the repair. I also want to clarify that the backyard valves in question were existing valves from the original irrigation system that we repaired during the project; they were not complete new valve assemblies installed by us. Ali, I completely understand your frustration with having a valve leak, especially when it creates an urgent situation. What I respectfully disagree with is allowing this recent issue with an existing component to represent the entire project we completed for you back in January 2025. I take pride in my work and would have appreciated the opportunity to inspect the problem myself before conclusions were made about the cause or the quality of the work we performed. I appreciate the opportunity you gave LEAL Landscape to work on your property, and I?m sorry that our business relationship ended on this note."

After reviewing the proposal, you decided not to move forward and mentioned that you wanted to find someone who could complete the work at a lower price. I completely understand that pricing and budget are important when choosing a contractor, and I respect your decision to seek other options. "Hello Virginia, We reached an agreement on a fixed price for the completion of the project, which has been fulfilled as promised, rather than an hourly rate. Additionally, the team assisted with tasks that were outside the scope of the original bid. The project has been completed, yet you have only paid half of the agreed-upon amount."
