Lee Sawyers Tile & Remodel

We were very lucky to have contacted Scott Padgett of Lee Sawyers Tile and Remodel for our front porch tile project. The porch is small and also needed repairs which were not simple to accomplish. At our first meeting with Scott, he impressed us with the thoroughness of his evaluation for the work to be done and the materials needed to accomplish the project. Every communication was timely, every appointment kept at the time Scott stated, the professionalism of the crew and the quality of the work were all outstanding. We are extremely pleased with the beauty of our porch today. Thank you, Scott!

On time and good work but one of the two installers was very crude and I came very close to telling him to leave. A little shocked that they left 7 garbage cans weighing over 150lbs on my front porch blocking my front door for me to take care of. Paying almost double what the other contractors were, I would have thought the follow through would have been better.

They were on time and did a great job. They installed a tile backsplash in our kitchen. It looks fabulous!

Finding a good, reliable contractor is a bit of a crap shoot especially when you are looking at a major home renovation and investing a lot of money in to that project. Many contractors get a reputation of being unreliable, shows up late if at all on the dates and time promised, poor communication, only work a couple of hours then leave the project and worst of all do not take pride in their work and the quality is not what you paid for. You can do your due diligence by check references; BBB complaints; state licensing; State AGs office of complaints; read customer comments on review sites and then pick a few to interview. Still, it is no guarantee you are going to get a good one. You hire them then hold your breath. We just went thought all of this for a total kitchen remodel (floor up). After going through all of this we found a gem in American Made Contractors and Scott Padgett. Our projected started 7 months ago with research and after we selected Scott, his communication MONTHS before the project started was superb. He was a resource we could use as we went through the planning stages and selection process. We probably talk to him 2 times a week during this and then almost daily as our demo day approached. He and his hand selected crew showed up when promised (for various phased), worked all day, cleaned up before leaving, found and fixed things that were discovered, give critical feedback on decisions during the project and took immense pride in his craftsmanship. Scott is a master carpenter and been at this for 37 years and it showed. He brought up additional ideas as the project progressed and incorporated them in to our kitchen. Just as important my wife was completely comfortable with everyone that came to the house. Scott does any kind of home renovation. If it is a bathroom, kitchen, home addition, room alteration etc... he has done it. If you are looking for someone you can trust with your project, trust with your hard-earned money and trust the project will be done right, look no further. Finally, our new kitchen is beautiful!

This project started out great. They were consistent and on time. They did good quality work. We are disappointed that after we paid for the project in full including materials they never returned to finish the job. We lost money on this project and that's a shame because we really liked the guys that came out to do the work.

We were very impressed! We had a prompt reply to our online request, a timely quote and an A++++ installation. We've used them twice already and hope to use them again in the near future. We would gladly recommend them!

Used him a lot and a lot of tile he is the best!
