While Joe and Candice shared the facts about the existing (to be removed) 1 1/2â  red oak being secured with 4â  nails into the joists they had an extremely high work ethic and powered through it. Sam was awesome and knew what he was talking about. His crew were prompt and very respectful. This type of job is extremely disruptive of the house because of sanding, sealing, moving. So be ready, this is a job that needs planning. After the job being done the w hardwood floors look better today than when originally installed. This is also an honorable company. They missed a part on the quote but decided to honor there original quote. I highly recommend Sam and Dawn at Lee’s Flooring.

working with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. we had just moved here from Georgia and hired them to replace the carpet in the upstairs of our home. the wood was dropped off by the lumber company and left in one of the bedrooms. it was never unbundled and sat there for nearly two weeks. it was finally installed (with interruptions that led it to run late while we slept in our basement with our two kids who are 5 and 3). there were multiple issues with the level that led me to go purchase a new plank at lowes. we were not able to use our bathrooms until the week before Thanksgiving and my husband finished the job for them. and that is not even the worst part. because the hardwood was not acclimated correctly (as proven with science by a hardwood flooring expert) the boards have separated so badly that a quarter can be placed between them. to add insult to injury, the floors were not sanded in places and were not correctly sealed (also proven by the hardwood flooring expert). when we called them to express our concern, they sent the foreman of the crew and he blamed it on the humidity or lack there off. a typical cop-out for contractors who do not want to stand behind shoddy workmanship. he called Sam, the owner, who replied that we needed to hire a hardwood flooring expert, and only then would they would consider rectifying the issues we were ( and are) having. so, we did. the inspector came out, took samples of the wood, and did his thing. he spoke with sam once before his calls and e-mails stopped being answered. fast forward seven months later and we have hired an attorney to help us get some sort of response and have proposed a solution that we are flexible with and does not involve the courts. no response. they absolutely do not stand behind their work. this is nothing less than thievery in my opinion. I would never in a hundred years recommend this company to anyone- not just because their work was horrendous but also because their response to our concerns was to completely blow us off. they have taken zero accountability for their horrendous workmanship- if you can even call it workmanship. they just took the money and ran. save yourself thousands and use a different company. I sure wish we had. maybe this review will catch their attention and they will finally respond to us so that we can work this out like grown-ups.

This was a multi-task job. existing wood refinished, new wood floor added, and in basement laminated floor added. Dawn and Sam saw that every part of the job was done perfectly. Joe & Candance did a great job installing the laminated wood. The quality of the product they use gives me great confidence that I will enjoy my floors for many years. I cannot say enough good things about our experience, but above all else we had trust and confidence that we would be well taken care of!

My brother and I attempted to refinish original hardwood floors in a late 50â s home. We learned quickly that we needed a professional after renting multiple tools from Home Depot. The price was perfect for what we were asking, and they made time to get the project done for our needs. The floors look beautiful, and they took the time to show us different stain options. They met and exceeded our expectations for the work and time to get the project done. I would recommend them to anyone looking for flooring work.

Professional, kept to schedule, low dust, friendly

Joseph and Candice did an exceptional job removing existing carpet and replacing with walnut flooring, replacing some existing damaged wood flooring, removing metal floor vents and putting in flush wood floor vents. And an exceptional job on removing the carpet and crafting the wood for a beautiful spiral staircase. It was a real custom craftsmanship job. Next comes the sanding and finishing.. They worked quickl, efficiently and they are great, friendly, hard workers. I highly recommend Lee's Floor Service and Joseph and Candice.

I was worried this job was going to be expensive and messy, but I was wrong on both counts. Sam was knowledgeable and professional. I could schedule when it was convenient, and the job was done in half the time expected. My floors are gorgeous. I will definitely call on Leeâ s again.
