The Team Lee's sent to remove 4 large, dead trees did a great job and cleaned the yard afterwards. I would hire them again.

It's so hard to believe after looking at all of these positive reviews that we used the same company. In December, we contacted this company to get a quote on cutting down 3 massive trees. We contacted several companies and all of them came out to assess the trees and gave us a prices. Additionally we asked if the job would be complete and done in 1 day, the owner confirmed it would be. This company was the only company that requested we take pictures and send them to the arborist to provide a quote. This was the most competitive quote within $500 of the 2nd best quote. The arborists came out a few days later with a huge team and then requested a higher amount for the trees. We agreed to pay an additional $200 and the company owner agreed because we were going to go with another company otherwise. (The picture submission seemed very flawed at this point) While the team was cutting down the trees the owner kept insisting they be paid more even after agreeing. First sign the owner Cameron, was not a man of his word. The price he was asking for was more expensive than the other quotes we received from other companies. The whole time the team was taking care of the trees, we were receiving texts from the owner trying to raise the price. Eventually the team had to stop for the day because the sun went down and the crew told us they would be back the next day to finish cleaning up the mess and grind the stumps. Job not being completed within one day, again Cameron not being a man of his word. All of the trees were down, but it was a mess and several large pieces of tree were left. He received a partial payment for services at this time. Once he left it was noticed that his team had left behind expensive tools behind. We contacted him and allowed him to retrieve his tools after we talked about the timeframe to complete the job (1 week) The current condition had the fence left down, yard was filled with large pieces of wood, tools, water bottles, crew clothes, my gutter was removed from my house. After the tools were picked up, the owner messaged us saying they couldn't come out and that it would be later than a week. Once again, not a man of his word. So we had to go and try to fix the fence but several pieces were missing. We had to make due. After several more text messages the owner said it was going to be WEEKS until they were able to come out again, but we knew it was because he felt he had underbid the job that he had agreed to. After a week the owner had 1 guy come to pick up the larger pieces of wood left for an agreed upon partial amount. We kept messaging the owner to get an updated timeframe, we were lucky to get a response most days. After months of continued communication only from us, he finally agreed to have a stump guy out to take care of the job. We requested the job be done in full so we could move on from this whole ordeal. Which was for the fence to finally be out back together, gutter reattached along with stumps. The owner agreed to do so for the remaining amount we agreed to but once again haggled for additional $100 to the job. We agreed so we could just be done. The stump guy he assigned then contacted me before his visit and had no idea about the other items and was not going to finish the job in full. Once again Cameron, the owner, not being a man of his word. We then cancelled the job and we were done with this liar. 3 months after the initial job. We were patient and courteous with the owner. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him to make it right. However, he never did. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Great crew and fast work. This is not on them, but when you have a tree cut down and 6 others trimmed, expect to see a HUGE difference. It was a bit of a shock for me but it was needed and I am getting used to it now. Overall they did a great job!! I would hire them again.
