I am not a happy customer. I'm not unhappy. I am an accommodated customer. I have four disappointments. I understand how a pool works, but this was my first remodel, and we were going big. Concrete swim-out bench in the shallow end, new tile, heater, new pump, new filter... I wanted a NEW pool. The first issue was the dedicated vacuum line. My pool has one, but it was abandoned. I wanted it fixed. I was told in the quote process that it may cost more to fix it, I said "let me know." The next I heard was at the end of the project when I asked about it and was told they found a leak and abandoned it. Legacy offered to rip up my new deck and address it if I wanted and I almost cried. They actually did have to rip up a small part of the deck to install a new skimmer because it was in the quote. I expressed concerns over drainage around my generator and A/C from the beginning and had to yell at them to get that done. I still have wood shims under the unmounted pump. *sigh*

Matthew Romano, our contact at Legacy was extremely cooperative and helpful. The work was scheduled quickly. Workers were careful to keep everything clean. Job is beautiful and we have switched our service company to their local group as well. Would recommend to anyone needing a pool repair or resurface.

The contractor and crew were prompt, courtious, and professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable. I love my new pool again. They were always ready to answer questions and answer their phone. Thank you Legacy!

We were having multiple problems with our pool. It was nearly fourteen years old, leaked badly, the chlorine generator cell needed replacement, our pool lights were malfunctioning, the the travertine tiles on our pool deck had become uneven and the pool needed to be replastered. This was my first experience with such a project and my pool construction background was limited. To compensate, I spoke with eight pool companies to receive their recommendations, prices and to assess their honesty and competence. The company representative I spoke with last was Matt Romano of Legacy pools. Matt was a home run! Heâ s proven very honest, very knowledgeable, quite personable and a very good communicator. He gave me his recommendations and I asked him about the other alternatives Iâ d received from the other pool companies. After reviewing, with my wife, the various proposals and my impressions of the representatives Iâ d spoken with, Legacy seemed like our best choice. We based our decision on trust, expected quality and a fair price. Legacy expertly addressed all of the pool problems I listed earlier, they did so in accordance with the schedule we agreed upon at the time of contract and all of their work was of very high quality. I, also, had the opportunity to meet Legacyâ s work teams and watch them work. They are very impressive, in terms of their expertise, work ethic, teamwork and high standards. They all gave me reason to compliment their work. In doing so Moses, the person leading the repair and plastering of the pool, told me that their standard is to do the work as if they were doing it for themselves. I highly recommend Matt, Moses and Legacy Pools to anyone looking for honesty, quality and excellent service at a fair price!

We hired Legacy Pools to have our pool refinished, install of new travertine deck, pool tile, a new pump, and filter, and drainage improvement. The completed project looks nice however we have a few issues that, in our opinion, have not been properly addressed. The day the travertine was completed, Darren rushed the subcontractor away before our scheduled walk-through to another project and the cleanup and sanding of the travertine was never completed. We had to clean up and finish the sand ourselves. After the project was complete and we voiced our worries, Darren told us that a remodel would not be perfect and there would always be blemishes, the quality of work was not what we were promised. Especially for the price. Darren never came back to look at our concerns but sent a technician instead. We never received another response from Darren. We are happy for the others that had a five-star experience, unfortunately, we did not. Customer service and communication need improvement.

We had an issue with our pool where it was filling up - almost to a point where it was overflowing the sides. We called Legacy Pools on a Friday and they were able to get us in on Monday morning. The staff we worked with over the phone to schedule the appointment was super friendly and kept us up to date as far as exactly when Matthew, the technician would arrive. Matthew showed up right on time and was super helpful in diagnosing the issue that we were having and we were able to implement a temporary fix right on the spot. Matthew then took the time to go above and beyond in taking a look at our pool equipment and suggesting recommendations. Legacy will be sending us a quote for a permanent fix to the main issue we are having. I would definitely recommend using Legacy pools to other folks who have pools at their home.

The best decision we made was to hire Legacy Pools FL to do our pool and deck renovation. Darren is the most responsive contractor we have ever hired and his prices are so competitive. His crews are very professional and hard working. We were given a timeframe for the work to be completed and the job was done within that timeframe. One of the best parts is the communication! Darren communicates every step of the way, no wondering if anyone is showing up. He sets the timeline and makes sure it happens. Darren’s customer service doesn’t stop once the job is done and the final payment is made. He continues to check in and make sure everything is what was expected and that he has a happy customer. If you are considering a new pool or renovation, don’t make the mistake of not calling this company. Once you do, you will be glad you did!
