First let me say that I built houses for 12 years along with constructing roads, and laying sewer and water lines for 15 years. I hired Sam because I did not want to take the time and track down the subs myself, taking a chance their work could be subpar. I ended up doing that anyway. Sam is not to be taken at his word. He will tell you one thing, then say he did not say that or it was not discussed. Let me say again, HE WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE AND SMILE! Get everything in writing down to the smallest detail. He had to be reminded constantly of things needing to be done. The painters that he uses are terrible. This job should only have taken 3 to 4 months at most. This job took him 7 months. Quite Unbelievable. I had to fire him and finish the project myself by finding other subcontractors to redo the work his subs could not do or was done poorly. Especially the painting. Most of which had to be repainted and or touched up because they failed to prep the walls, trim, and baseboards. He cuts corners to save money by not using qualified people to install fixtures such as plumbing and electrical. Because of this, we had a leaking toilet that caused quite a bit of drywall damage. Last but not least...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...stay far, far away from this company. I think those 5-star reviews are bought from a company that puts random reviews on for you. P.S. SAM!!! YOU ARE A SAD JOKE FOR A BUILDING CONTRACTOR!!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Legacy Remodeling and Contracting. Sam was amazing and very responsive. Our kitchen turned out beautiful. We remodeled 3 rooms and various other small projects. We will be using Legacy again soon to finish remodeling the rest of our house and build a new deck.

It was exceptional. He is effective communicator. Price is transparent and detail oriented. He spent time making sure we were satisfied. All projects done were completed to our satisfaction.

We hired legacy for a cabin that flooded and suffered extensive water damage to the first and second floor. They Installed new drywall through out, repainted the entire cabin, repaired all the water damage, installed new flooring, new electrical outlets, fans and constructed a new room that set at the base of a stairwell. Legacy did an amazing job on the work and we could not be more pleased with the services we received.

Sam Adkins, the owner of Legacy Remodeling and Contracting Company, did a superb job of building the all-season sunroom addition to our house. Our sunroom was of our own unique design and required a contractor who was honest and knowledgeable and someone who possessed a â can-doâ attitude. Sam was all of that and more. He was a pleasure to work with and used only the finest materials and craftsmanship. We are very pleased with our sunroom and itâ s unique features that Sam helped to create. We are pleased to highly recommend his work to others.
