I have using Legend Landscaping/Arbor Culture for 5+ years. They maintain my lawn/yard as well as perform my snow removal. They are reliable in all seasons. I need someone who will do what is needed without my direction (as I'm kind of clueless about the details, but I know when it looks good) and they do that. If I ask for something new, they always oblige! My lawn was needing some TLC when I hired them and it looks amazing now. When Dad comes to visit, he always comments on how great it looks.

The company consistently left the gates open allowing our dogs to escape plus the workers pulled up plants. The office manager/wife was rude when we complained. Their billing was inconsistent then they tried to charge us late fees . I do not recommend them. They are the only landscape company that I have ever had a problem with at either our house or our rental houses in Bergen County.

We have been very satisfied customers of Legends going on 15 years. We get seamless weekly lawn service in the spring and summer, and fantastic snow plowing in the winter. Seasonal cleanups keep the property looking smart. Matt and Sue have priced their services fairly. Numerous special projects -- seasonal flowers, new planting beds, a vegetable garden, and re-setting pavers for the whole driveway -- received careful attention at an affordable price. Honest, responsive, fairly priced ... what else would you want from your landscape company.

A fantastic operation. I moved into Park Ridge about 1.5 years ago, and during the time it took to close on our house our leaf problem became too much for us to handle. Strangely enough, down my street is Legend's HQ and I couldn't be happier with them. While currently only having our lawn maintained by Legend, we plan to expand into their design fold soon and cannot wait to get started. Extremely competitive prices, but more importantly, FANTASTIC customer service. Matt and Sue are top notch!

We recently bought a house around the area, and met with 5-6 different landscapers. We needed someone who could give good honest advice on what we should do with the lawn, as the grass in the front was not cared for, the "garden" in the back was overgrown like crazy, we had issues with poison ivy, etc. We found them through home advisor, and have been extremely happy with their service. Sue is SUPER friendly and fun to work with, her husband is very knowledgeable, he was able to come by, give us a ton of good advice on both short term and long term planning for the entire place, and get moving that week.

Before Legends, we had a lawn that was looking progressively worse each year--so many barespots. Landscapers kept telling us that our trees were preventing grass from growing, even though other neighbors with trees had grass. Legends took the time to check the lawn and after several seedings, we now have an attractive lawn--only because they took the time to care and to restore it. We are very impressed with their attention to their work.

Upon my first contact with legend and through out two different projects, Matt and team have been a pleasure to work with. All appointments were met on time and this is very important for me. Matt's recommendations and design drawings were top notch to give us a preview of what to expect. All work was done professionally and always cleaned up. In addition, Matt always returned calls promptly and took care of any issues quickly. I would highly recommend Legend for any landscaping needs.

Matt and his team are by far the most professional group I have dealt with. Matt is particularly good at coming up with sensible solutions that are cost effective. His team is meticulous and able to deal with issues as they arise. I will definitely use them again.

I was very happy with the service we received. The crew was neat and efficient and the work was done as expected. I would recommend them and I will use them in the future on other landscape projects. I thought they were a good value and we are very happy with the backyard project of filling in a vacant swimming pool area.
