"We do realize that the customer would like a refund; however, we do not feel that a refund, full or partial, are warranted in this case. Water was never turned off to the home as we were there with the water company trying to locate the curb valve. The charge of $435 was to replace a leaking warped trap and remove an obstruction in the drain line that was causing flow restrictions. The leak was located but we were unable to complete that part of the job because of Trenton Waters inability to shut water off at curb. We only charged for work performed that day and were expecting a call from the customer to return once the valve outside was located. The customer called to notify us that she had someone else make the additional repair which is fine but separate from the work we charged her for."
