Technician was very knowledgeable, friendly and quickly fixed the problem. He explained everything he was doing and then proceeded to do the job without any problems.

Ben the service tech was friendly and professional. They came out same day and resolved my plumbing pvc pipes issue quickly . Definitely would have no issue calling on them again.

I had a clogged toilet. I tried to resolve the issue using a plunger, then a snake, and finally pouring buckets of water from high up. Nothing worked. I called Len for the service. They left me waiting all day of my original appointment then texted me to reschedule and offered me a $50 discount. The next day their tech showed up. Nice guy, but he basically tried exactly what I had done e myself and I kept telling him that the toilet needed to be removed and try using the snake after that from both sides of the toilet drain.He had me sign for the charge in advance at $285 which I did. But when it came to removing the toilet he said it will be extra. I had to talk to the manager on the phone to explain that charging me extra was not fair. After arguing 5 minutes he finally kept the charge to the original amount he had quoted me. In the end nothing was fixed at the cost of $285. I plan to not only dispute the charge but also cancel my maintenance contract for my boiler. Never use them.

$500 for snake.

I hired this plumbing company to fix sewage overflow in my basement restroom and designated outside area, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The company quoted me a price, but I was charged three times more than the original estimate. On the second day, the plumber told me it would only cost $169 to return, but when he came back, he claimed he had to wait for a ?camera service? to find the problem?even though he knew exactly what the issue was from the beginning. It felt dishonest, and he let his hourly rate run while doing unnecessary delays. After paying $2,400, the sewage overflow continues, and the problem has still not been fixed. The service was unprofessional, misleading, and extremely overpriced. I do not recommend this company.

The work by the service tech was very good; the communication by phone is useless and frustrating. I am unable to speak with my service tech if I have any questions or problems. I am unable to speak with my service tech from whom I expected a price proposal a week ago to replace the heat pump. Are you not interested, or are you so disorganized that you are unable to prioritize your customers? One very dissatisfied customer

We experienced a leaky shower and consequently scheduled an appointment with Len the Plumber for Saturday. We devoted the entire day to this matter, only to receive an automated call around 5 PM notifying us that the plumber would not be able to attend. As a direct result, we had to take a day off work and subsequently rescheduled the appointment. On that day, the initial plumber arrived and found the gasket faulty. He advised us to procure the part independently and provided a total cost estimate of $470, which included an $80 discount for arranging the repair after the necessary parts were obtained. We ordered the required components and set up another appointment. The second plumber replaced the gasket and subsequently charged us an additional $310 beyond the original estimate. My husband, unaware of this, settled the payment. To this day, with multiple phone calls to them, nobody ever called us back or refunded us the extra charge ! Can you trust a company like this !!!

Everything was fixed to expectations

Len The Plumber installed a brand new water heater for me on February 5th 2026. The unit was paid for in full immediately, yet it failed after just over a week of use. Today is the third day my house has had zero hot water. I have called multiple times. The weather is freezing. I am paying for my tenants' meals because they can't shower or do dishes, and I am waking up at night terrified the pipes are going to freeze and burst, which will cost thousands in damage. I am asking for the resolution but nothing yet. If you cannot fix the one you sold me, you need to bring a replacement and install it ASAP!

Len sent someone to look at my HVAC system. He didn?t know what he was doing. But he knew enough to charge me 200 dollars to a maintenance check on my system, calling it some kind of advance diagnostic. BS. Stick to Plumbing!

I had a wonderful experience from Jaylen on the installation of my water heater. He was very professional throughout the entire process. He was extremely kind and explained everything he was doing. I never felt dismissed when I had questions to ask. Thank you very much to Len the Plumber for hiring great people like Jaylen!

Derrick Allender was the 2nd person to visit to provide a quote to repair or replace the sewer line. He provided multiple options and clearly explained the costs, how it would occur, what would happen to our concrete driveway, or not. We selected Len the Plumber because they were able to do the work right away, and the warranty can't be beat. They showed up, and then made a recommendation that actually lowered the price, and still preserved our driveway. Jake led the crew who were all efficient, communicative, professional, and pleasant to interact with. I recommend their service to all.

Our first encounter with Len the Plumber for gas boiler repairs went well and lead us to purchase a service contract with them for the 15% discount. However once we needed actual plumbing services and after they provided their "free" HVAC annual inspection it all went downhill rapidly. As others have noted the %15 discount is a concept they don't really honor. We were charged $1100 for less than 30 minutes of work for a repair that only required one cut and a simple joint (We had already removed the drywall and trim for access) and about $30 in parts (which by the way good luck getting an itemized bill from these people). On the HVAC side they broke what was a perfectly functioning 4 yr old AC HVAC and then wanted to charge $1200 to figure out how they broke it plus whatever parts they dreamed up needed replacing. They tried to claim the capacitor was bad. BTW - they brute force discharge the capacitors on units as part of their "maintenance check", something they should never do. We had BGE come out since their info was on the installation tag on the air handler and they diagnosed the issue in less than 30 minutes finding the thermostat had been burned up by mis-handling by the Len tech. They also said they never brutalize the capacitors the ways these guys do unless there is already a suspected issue with it. That's because the capacitor could be damaged by the way they handle it at Len the Plumber. So the "free" annual HVAC check cost me 3 days of discomfort and $250. Len refuses to admit wrong doing and will not reimburse us. They got $5000 in fees from us in less than a year so they don't care if we leave because they know another sucker is just around the corner waiting to be taken. These guys should lose their license given their business practices. Stay away from them at all costs.

I’ve used Len the Plumber in the past, but after today, I will never be using their services again. I called to follow up on a recent (and expensive) drain repair - work that my family stretched our budget to afford. The plumber who came out was great: professional, kind, and respectful. But unfortunately, the drain is still not fully cleared. When I called customer service to ask if there was any warranty or guarantee on the repair, I was met with nothing but attitude. I wasn’t rude, I simply asked a question. Rather than receiving a straightforward answer, I was spoken to in a condescending and dismissive tone, as if I didn’t have the right to inquire about a service I paid a significant amount for. If the answer is “no, there’s no warranty,” then just say that. I would’ve scheduled another appointment and paid for the additional work. But I refuse to support a business that treats its customers like that over the phone. I hung up and blocked the number. To whoever runs this company: please take customer service seriously. It’s hard enough to pay steep prices for plumbing work—being treated rudely on top of that is unacceptable. Hire people who are kind and respectful to your customers. You’ve lost my business.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent plumbing service I received from Len the Plumber. I paid nearly $300 for a technician to come out for 5 minutes, put a snake in the drain and leave.., yet it is now going on day three and the problem still has not been fixed. Two techs have been out to my home. I find this completely unacceptable. When a customer pays for professional service, they should not be left without a functioning toilet for days. I hoped for timely, effective, and professional service, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as this level of service does not reflect the reputation your company advertises. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you. UPDATE: My previous review still stands from a couple years ago for that specific plumber only - but my most recent experience has been a nightmare. Will never recommend this company ever again. They definitely have changed since my last experience. Not only did the plumber they sent (12/9/24) not do anything to make any effort to clear a clog ( I won’t be petty and provide a name, even though I should) - after signing agreements and I asked if I should pay now -he said I probably should so he could get started - I know I should’ve just sent him on his way, but wanted to get this fixed (astronomical for what was -or in this case wasn’t done- and was told that prices had gone up a lot since my previous experience). He also had to inform me that normally they send the new guys to do this type of work ( implying unclogging drains was beneath his “expertise “). Then proceeded to tell me he was convinced it was a collapsed drain (after snaking the drain for less than a few mins)and that I probably had water flooding under the foundation said he needed to get a hold of their camera guy to be sure - he went to his truck to call him came back in, about 20-25 mins later to tell me he couldn’t get a hold of their camera guy and left a message for him. He then said he would try one more time with the snake - did the same amount of effort as the first time and said we would have to wait until he could get a camera down there and that we would have to let the drain dry out a bit so it would probably be the following week. Packed up his stuff and said I should call him in an hour to see if he heard from the camera guy (why should I do the calling for follow up??) When he left, he seemed to struggle backing out and damaged our lawn (have security camera footage). I called the company the next day and was sent to voicemail (left a message that said I had some concerns but didn’t leave a lot of detail) and was told that I should hear from someone that day - I did not. Called the next day and was told by the supervisor of the phone people that the phone person should have told me it was 24-48 hours before a manager would respond and she would not allow me to speak to anyone else. I did not hear back from anyone in 72 hrs, so I called back and then was told that the manager was out (conveniently). I gave up calling them and called another plumbing company who fixed the issue in a short amount of time (no collapsed drain, just a good ol’ clog). Decided to call Len the Plumber one more time ( 12/23/24) 2 weeks AFTER my original call and was told that there was a note in my file that said the mgr did call 3 days prior to this call (there had been no conversation or missed calls or voicemail received by me - so either he called a wrong number or this was a lie) and in the notes the mgr (Brian, I was told by the phone person)stated that I was told about the pricing and that was it. Not sure where he got his information of what he thought my issue was, since I didn’t leave a lot of info when I spoke to the phone people other than it was frustrating to be told I would get a call in 24-48 hrs. This last phone person said she would send an email to all managers with my concerns and would hope someone would assist. No response. (12/28/24). Think twice before using this company. It has changed ownership twice since the original owner- history has shown as ownership changes in companies , so do priorities and not to the benefit of the customers.

It went well.

The work went well, however, if you don't mind paying the highest rates (over $900 for 1.5 hours), don't mind that they do not honor their 15% service contract discount or that customer service does not return numerous calls as promised, then Len the Plumber is the company for you.

Called out for an estimate, the plumber promptly started turning off the leaking, but still working water heater without asking or in any way telling me what they were doing. They then gave me a very high estimate with no cost breakdowns and acted like they were doing me a favor for not charging me $168 for shutting down the water heater and giving me.the high cost uninformative estimate.
