John and his team are absolutely amazing! We hired them to do several projects around our house, including replacing the rotted doors on our shed, repairing, pressure washing, and repainting our front porch, fixing the foundation of our outdoor gazebo, and structural repairs to our elevated porch in the backyard. They finished everything in only 4 days and at a very reasonable price. Everyone on John's team is friendly and hardworking. They did an amazing job, and we are very happy with the results! We wanted to keep them around and hire them to do more, but our pockets wouldn't allow it! When we get the funds, however, we'll definitely be calling Lend a Hand Builders again!

Of five contractors, John was the only one who provided a detailed quote to my Homeowners Association. He placed us on schedule, showed up and did the work in the time promised, removed any old materials and then returned for the follow up portion of the job. I would recommend John and his company.

John Thompson of Lend A Hand got back to me shortly after I inquired about their services. Even though I'm out of town, we were able to arrange for him to see the house from online photos and give us a firm and reasonable estimate for cleaning the gutters. We made an appointment, John arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and took care of the accumulated debris in the gutters. We'll be using their services regularly.

They showed up ON TIME, actually early! They knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem in less than a hour. The price was EXCELLENT! Would recommend to anyone needing this service.

Our front brick steps were separated from the brick front stoop. Great group of guys and John is a perfectionist which I appreciated. My fire place had a face lift and all the old marble was taken out and fresh stone in place with a new hearth. The finish product exceeded my expectations and I would certainly rehire John and his crew.

I had repairs done to my fireplace and when they finished they left the area cleaner than when they started and my fireplace looks better now than it did when I first bought the home. John Thompson and his crew worked tirelessly in 95+ degree heat to add custom stone siding, custom built front porch steps, and replace corbels on our front porch. The quality of their craftmanship is outstanding, as is their professionalism. They were friendly, arrived early daily, and John kept to the price he quoted in the contract (which is extremely fair considering the amount of work done.) I couldn't be happier with their work and already plan to hire them for future projects. These guys are pros.

Replaced and redesigned bricks around my fireplace and built a custom fireplace surround. They were very professional. kept to the timeline, and were reasonable.

Very professional and didn't try to charge us more than necessary trying to up the cost for him. We had a prefab fireplace and needed it cleaned before Christmas and check for bird nest that we sometimes get. He gave us a good price since it was not wood burning and a masonary unit. He was scheduled us in and said he would be on time (within the hour). He actually called and asked if he could come earlier and that was wonderful! He did a great job!
