Len the Plumber

Had a nasty clog that would not budge no matter what I tried. Called Len The Plumber after my neighbor recommended them. Mike showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem - tree roots had gotten into my sewer line! He explained everything clearly and gave me a fair quote before starting work. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. My drains are working perfectly now. Will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues. They handle everything from simple clogs to major water line repairs, which is convenient.

WY overpriced. Took advantage of an elderly person who was dumb enough to pay their inflated prices

Very poor communication. They responded to a no heat call, ordered a part, a week later determined it was the wrong part and another week later Iâ m still calling for a status update. I paid 50% up front and am without any heat 2 weeks later. I wish I had ordered the part and tried to fix it myself. Very disappointed.

Terrible Service. Rude technician. Cannot trust their word. Have spent hours on the phone to get them to schedule inspection for water heater. Ended up talking to manager who promised things would change and seemed apologetic. However, he didn't do what he was supposed to and then just ghosted me.

Bad experience, prices outrageous and be cautious what you sign even when decline service. All I needed was for Len The Plumber to replace basic kitchen faucet that I had already bought for installation. They wanted over $500 just for labor to do this basic job. And then also suggested I replace valves as preventative while they were here that would add into that even though I did not currently need that. I found the price to replace a faucet outrageous. I did not use them and signed check for $49 show up fee I had to pay since declining service. Found someone else will to do same job for less than half their price. Even worse, after I refused service and gave them their mandatory $49 show up fee they wanted me to sign ipad documents that said I had agreed for the service and had given them a voided check to make sure payment made in line with estimate. I absolutely refused to sign documents that specifically said I was accepting service for the estimated price when I had declined service and had provided them with a voided check when I had not. Only good thing I can say is that they were prompt in coming out.

Deceptive Pricing Practices and Lack of Control Over Technicians I recently had an unfortunate experience with The Plumber Heating & Air, LLC that I feel compelled to share. I had a leak on my basement ceiling and called for their services. The technician, Yves, performed a 10-minute diagnostic and charged me an exorbitant $300, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. What concerns me the most is the apparent lack of control the company has over its technicians. It seems like these technicians have the liberty to name their own prices for diagnostic and service fees. The company acts more like a dispatcher, with technicians having free rein over pricing decisions. This lack of transparency and accountability is alarming, especially in emergency situations. Customers should be cautious when relying on this company for urgent services, as the pricing structure appears to be at the discretion of individual technicians. I hope my experience serves as a warning to others considering The Plumber Heating & Air, LLC. Transparency and fair pricing are essential for customer trust, and unfortunately, my encounter with the company fell short of these expectations.

Albert from the Silver Spring office installed a UV airscrubber because of our familyâ s allergies and asthma. He was very patient, and just like the man who performed maintenance the day before, Shak, they both took the time to explain everything. No pressure. Kind people. Even my kids liked them!

Cost too high

Asked them to clear a clogged toilet. He was unable to do so. I called another company who quickly cleared the toilet. Len the plumber charged me $200.00 + but did not offer to discount the cost. I thought the cost was too much for not being able to do the work. Dont think I will use them again.

This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any service company I have hired for any of my homes over the last 10 years! First, Len the Plumber sent out 3 different plumbers just to figure out the simple issue of why my shower was not getting hot water but every other faucet in the house was. The plumber who knew the issue knew it right away but had to order a part, and I made yet another appointment for repair. (4 total appointments to get it fixed). That plumber, however, was the rudest service person I have ever used and refused to put his mask on when inside the house. He fixed the initial issue of not having hot water, but the faucet began leaking immediately after his repair. Len the Plumber finally sent him back to repair the faucet again, but the plumber complained the whole time, noting that I should not complain about a leak if he fixed the hot water which was the bigger problem. I do not recommend this company at all, I suggest you save your time and money and hire someone else.

Came out same day, fixed problem fast

My kitchen sink was leaking and the pipe had separated from the wall. I was very concerned about this job. When the plumber arrived he made me feel at ease. He completed the job and explained the entire time what had to be done and what was needed to complete the project. I would call them again.

Techs were professional and polite and experienced.Explained what had to be done to unblock two upstairs toilets." remove both toilets and snake the drains". Only had to remove and replace one toilet but the estimate /price remained the same $1780.00 !!! damaged the doors jams on both bathrooms with the equipment they had to use. Also i have marks on my walls. other than that, my toilets are fine. not sure if i would use them again without futher research/options with other plumbers. sticker shock!!

The problem was misdiagnosed, and charges were excessive. I had to call HA customer service to help me facilitate a refund because the customer service of Len the Plumber did not follow through with promised a refund. The problem was not diagnosed properly and I had to pay an extra amount of money to resolve a plumbing issue that was misdiagnosed.

A very professional and respectful technician who took the time to explain things and teach a few tricks.

Plumber arrived in a timely fashion and did the work quickly but the charge was shocking. They are Very Expensive!

Identifying a leak for our neighbors below, he literally took our toilet and left with it leaving a family, including a small child, with nothing more than a hole in the floor. This was not confirmed to be acceptable as the leak had been ongoing for months, it was not so urgent that he could not leave the toilet in place until returning with a new one. An hour after leaving with our toilet, he returned with a new one and spent nearly three hours installing it.
