True professional!

They did not replace the tank; instead they had replaced the pressure switch and gauge (for $678) and later insisted the tank was ok. I turned off the pump, turned off the supply to house, drained the tank, and measured 0 psi. The pressure tank was still broken! It cost me $925 to have a real plumber replace the broken tank.

I found them to be extremely expensive for the size of the project. Although I paid their assessment fee I hired another cost appropriate plumber.

Tech was very knowledgeable and efficient in completing the task in a professional manner.

I was happy with the project but it was a little pricey.

Not one to post negative reviews but my experience, like so many others regarding LTP needs attention. On October 22 I found out a day before needing major surgery, my well pump needed replacing. Having little experience in doing this (a bit of a handyman) I figure leave the hard stuff to the professionals. Called LTP early not in desperation but close to it. They were very responsive and sent out a 'tech' the same day. Not terribly personable but seemed to know what to do. After verifying what I had already told him (for which I was to pay $49.00), the 'tech' proceeded to the well head to begin the act of 'pullling' my old well pump. Asking for an estimate prior to doing any major work, I was told '$1500'. This was just to 'pull' out the old pump. After a few more minutes I was told it would be $6000-$8000 to replace as he didn't know the 'type' of pump it was, but knew it was 180 feet deep (I had the old spec. sheets on original install). I Nearly hit the floor. How could this be. The best of the best Gould's well pumps are only 1300? So that would mean a 2-3 hour install costs somewhere around $6000? The answer given was 'well that's just what it costs'. Ridiculous!!! Even on the site which recommended calling LTP the 'typical' well pump replacement costs are only $2000-$3000. The $3000 being on the higher end for deep wells requiring higher end well pumps. Mine is only 180 feet. So $6000+ for a few hours worth of work??? Really. What a total ripoff. LTP should be ashamed of SERIOUS price gouging. Needless to say I sent the LTP 'tech' down the road and told him his price was outrageous. His diagostic fee went from $49.00 to $350.00 for the minor 'work' he performed (on top of the diagnosis) which entailed removing 4 bolts and disconnecting 4 wires inside the well head before I told him to 'stop'. After calling a local well drilling outfit, they were STUNNED at the price LTP quoted and took pity on my situation (needing surgery the next day). This local outfit came out, with a crew of 4 guys, a crane, a new well pump, new pipe, new wire, baffles and torque arrestors, and an install for UNDER $3000. On top this and after calling LTP front office to complain, nothing was done to justify why I had to pay 350.00 or why the install price was so outrageous. So, like many others, GET A SECOND opinion when dealing with LTP. Customer service at this place needs a serious 2nd look but management.

This is my second time using Len the Plumber, and I requested the same plumber, John Sekhon, who is great to work with - and I highly recommend. Although he was unable to help me with my leak issue, he was very honest and gave great suggestions on who to contact for assistance. The lower rating for the value is due to the service fee that is automatically charged by Len the Plumber even if the issue is not fixed. I understand that costs are associated with technicians coming out - just important to know that there will be charges associated with using Len the Plumber.

The Technician was very well mannered and did the job in the most professional way
