Level Up Exteriors

Poor quality of work. Replaced deck floor, handrails and top rails. The job was rushed and Sam did not listen to my request which resulted in unacceptable work in the end. I can send pictures.

Great work thank you Sam!

I've been in the building materials business for 35 years (retired) so I have a pretty good sense for the wood quality and workmanship. I had 6 deck companies come out to see my project (1,000 square foot deck) including Sam's Levelup company. Like all customers, I had certain specifications that, in the end, only Sam met all of them. For example, I wanted no seams on my deck so the deck boards had to be 20 footers. Sam was the only person who had the sources to pull that on off. This is especially noteworthy in that we all are in times of very tight supply. The quality of the product was excellent and above expectations. The workmanship quality of he and his team (Sam is a working boss) was exceptional. Using 3'' screws for the deck boards was above and beyond. He and his crew were very courteous, on time and their general clean up at the end left our yard and surrounding area looking nicer than before they came. His pricing was competitive. Over all we had an outstanding experience and love our new deck. I would highly recommend Sam. JB

outstanding job

Highly recommend Sam and his team for deck type jobs. They were here on time, completed the job, as advised, on time as well, and cleaned up their work area. Very creative ideas in repairing our deck.

Very professional service and job quality. Thanks for the quick work!

Great ability to understand what we wanted, performing to getting the work done on schedule, a great price, and offer to follow up on the staining of the deck in a few months after the wood settles in.

We had a difficult repair/reinforcement project for a deck "on stilts." Twelve existing posts footings were reinforced and four new posts were installed, with minimal replacement boards needed on the decking material. With consideration for the weather, the project was finished within the agreed upon time frame. Would highly recommend this local company for repairs and for new builds. Thanks! Will let you know when we're ready for a project closer to terrace level.

Sam was very responsive when I requested service. He performed the job in a timely fashion.

This is a true professional. My rear screened in porch had begun to tilt. I had another company attempt to address the issue and spent a considerable amount of money to that end. Three years later the footings had all sank and the lean was worse than before. Other Pros offered bids without materials included. The entered Level Up. Excellent and reasonable bid and even better workmanship. This guy is a true PRO and I have already ask him to do additional work.

Prompt responsible craftsman who has a great personality-

Honest and a good person. He takes pride in the service he provides. Will use him again.

Well done

We were selling our home and we agreed to repair our deck. With closing only a week away a contractor who agreed to do the work told us he could not do it. We contacted several deck companies and no one could do the work before our closing and some of the quotes were ridiculously high. I contacted Sam and he came out immediately. He reviewed the inspection report and sized up the repairs right away. Sam and his crew came out and completed the work days before the closing. Sam understanding our plight squeezed us between jobs. He basically saved us from a bad situation on our house closing. We can't say enough about the quality of the work done and professionalism of Level Up Exteriors. After re-inspection our deck past with flying colors. We highly recommend Sam and his company. This was the best contractor experience I ever had in my 67 years.

Sam and his crew came out and gave me a quote, suggesting some upgrades as additional options, but not being overly pushy. His communication was excellent, letting me know when he would be coming (or rescheduling, we had quite a few rain days during my project!). The overall result is exactly what I wanted; I would hire Level Up Exteriors again.

did what they said they could do

Level Up Exteriors, Sam Akin, is knowledgeable , honest, and professional. He was quick to respond to our requests and did not try and sell us on more than was needed for our deck repair. He and his crew were prompt ,courteous, and cleaned up before leaving . I would recommend Level Up Exteriors to others and definitely use the again. Very Happy with our deck repair.

Nice young man but workmanship not as expected.

I was very pleased with Sam and his work. He’s a fine young businessman and I’m already planning my next job for him.

On time and very professional.

Good work, slow going but that was due to the weather

Response to me was quick, he was neat on the job, did not leave a mess and most of all he was clear on the work that had to be done. I plan to use him again on other projects. Great value also

Sam and his crew were very polite, knowledgeable and did an outstanding job on my new fence. It was a very difficult job because of the terrain. Amanda T

Sam and his crew are professional and timely showing up even when rain was expected and worked thru the rain. They did an outstanding job and have personal pride in their workmanship. Thanks Sam for a great job.

Very professional. Showed up at the exact time for the first meeting. After first meeting we set a range of time he could start the project, showed up earlier than expected, no problem there, and in three days, only because of weather, he was completed with the project. Very good company and I've already got a few more projects I'm going to have him look at.
