I used Liberty's services to replace 2 my AC/heating systems this spring and I am very satisfied with them. Both of my central AC units died in the end of last summer and given the entire systems were 20+ years old I decided to wait the winter and then replace both systems including the furnaces, condensers and coils. In the end of February, I began meeting the local contractors to get estimates for the job, starting with PSE&G certified contractors and then continuing with whoever I could find through references or on internet with more or less positive reviews. During 2-3 weeks I saw and received estimates from about 20-25 of them. Some of them did not impress me, as they said that the work would take 2-3 days for each of my 2 units, others were pricey (I received estimates ranging from 6.5k to 14k per unit), some were striking me as unreliable personalities etc. This is a normal process of picking up the contractor, but it is tiresome and after 2-3 weeks I was ready to compromise with myself and drop some of my "high standards and demands" to just get the job done. Luckily I did not have to do that, since Liberty was one of the last 2 contractors to visit my house and they fit perfectly into every standard of mine and were able to satisfy every expectation I had. The salesperson, Tim, was direct, knowledgeable and provided answers to every question I asked. I was told that the installation of a unit would take 5-6 hours by a crew of 3-4 guys, which was kind of a surprise, since all of the contractors I saw before had a crew of 1-2 guys with estimates of 1 to 3 days for each unit to be replaced. After seeing Tim I continued with Lisa, which was absolute pleasure. She is polite, professional and generally a very nice person to deal with. She never ignored my requests/questions, all the texts that I sent her were answered immediately. All what she/Tim said was proven to be correct down the road - no lies, no misrepresentations, no games or gimmicks. The negotiating process was smooth, we signed the contract very quickly. The price I paid for 2 units was very decent. It was not the cheapest (I received 2 slightly cheaper estimates), but it definitely was a very fair price. The morning after the contract was signed Lisa filed for permits and we scheduled an installation a week after that. Scott/Tyson and 2 other guys arrived in time. They split the work, so 2 guys were replacing the indoor unit, while 2 others were handling the condenser outside. They were super friendly, professional, explained to me whatever I wanted to know about the process/units and worked efficiently and fast. No mess was left behind. In less than 5 hours my attic unit was up and running. The basement unit was replaced in less than 5.5 hours on another day. From my previous experience with contractors, which I had plenty - I was impressed by Liberty's high standards and combination of fair pricing, good quality of work, decency and reliability. It's a rare thing and I definitely recommend Liberty to any homeowner or business for replacing their AC/heating system.

I was looking for A/C repair companies and came across the great reviews. I called this morning and they were able to send a technician today which was incredible. Nick was great, honest, friendly and most importantly he knew what he was doing. I will be calling them back each fall and spring for maintenance on my A/C and furnace. Very happy with their service!

Nick is so nice and helpful and whenever our furnace isn't working he calls us back immediately and is so knowledgeable. He is very honest and we will be using him for all our heating/ air conditioning needs!

I must have interviewed 6 other HVAC companies before I decided to hire Nick from Liberty Air. While the other companies gave me a song and a dance just to get my business, Nick was down to earth honest and very knowledgeable and I did not feel like it was just another sales pitch. He did not try to up-sell me like the other companies. Nick helped me make an educated decision without any pressure. He did a fantastic job of replacing our old HVAC system for us. The furnace and air conditioner he installed is super strong and very quiet! Nick is a class act and very honest and professional His price is also very competitive compared to other HVAC contractors. His communication is above and beyond as I never had any issues contacting him. He always responds in a timely fashion and will call to follow-up if there are any issues. Nick answered all my questions and delivered on all he promised. He was very professional, and we will recommend him to anyone and definitely use him in the future again. I am a house "flipper" and have used Liberty Air Heating and Cooling for about a dozen houses in the last two years. Since this is my business, I rely on contractors so my customers are happy (and don't call me to complain about problems!). I've been building for over forty years, and Liberty is just about the best HVAC contractor I've ever worked with. Lot's of contractors sell and install the same equipment, but the owner of Liberty is the "secret sauce" that makes the company so much better. It is said that a contract is only as good as the people who sign it, same for contractors. Liberty is honest, on time, reliable, knowledgeable, fair, consistent and clean. All of Liberty's workers are respectful and capable. Not only did I use Liberty for the houses I've built, but for my own house, too.

We were totally bummed when our furnace conked out two days before Christmas. Nick came right away, then spent Christmas Eve morning driving to PIscataway to get the part we needed, and had the problem fixed quickly. He was polite and professional. It would have been a cold Christmas for my family without him. I highly recommend Liberty Air!

They were very neat and thorough. I ended up signing a maintenance agreement for my 2 units. I canceled my PSE&G worry free, which was useless, and realized I was paying them double the price to never service my units. Needless to say, I'll be using them again.

They did everything possible to make it. We don't have any complaints. It was really good.

I contacted this company on July 5th because our central air conditioner seemed to be running properly, but the house would not remain cool below 80 degrees. These gentlemen were extremely prompt and professional. Within one hour from when I made my call, repairmen were at my home, additional coolant was added to the system, and the problem was resolved at a fair price.
