Liberty Home Services, Inc.
About us
Liberty Home Services was originally a residential drywall and painting sub-contractor. We started as a small company in 1978 and within a few years were grossing over a million dollars annually. We incorporated in 1991. Later on Liberty added carpentry to our repertoire, and began to move more and more into the remodeling industry and away from new home construction. In early 2000, we changed our name to Liberty Home Services, Inc. to more accurately reflect our new change in direction. We began to see that we took more satisfaction out of servicing homeowners than working for home builders. We appreciate our clients continued satisfaction with our performance. Our ongoing pledge to our community is to provide the very highest quality service coupled with fair and reasonable pricing. While we enjoy additions and other major remodeling jobs we are also a top notch handyman company that offers top quality service and guaranteed appointment times. Our men all have cell phones - you will never be waiting by the phone wondering if your Liberty mechanic will show up. We have both General Liability and Workmer's Compensation insurance. We are also bonded. While Service Magic only requires their contractors to have the cheaper and easier to get General Liability Insurance to receive leads, it is a violation of Virginia code to have more than one employee and not have a worker's Compensation policy. Even if the handyman you hire is one man with a helper (and as such in compliance with state regulations), issues of exposure to liability are serious and not to be overlooked in our opinion. We hire only the very best people and we pay them well. We search for men and women of substance, the kind of people that we respect and feel proud to send into the homes of our neighbors. Our philosophy is simple; we believe that a satisfied customer is our best recipe for growth.
