Our business was built on a foundation of caring – about our communities, our vendors, our customers, our employees, and our company. During an infectious disease outbreak, this means taking every precaution possible to keep others healthy and safe. I called this business and they immediately scheduled an appointment. Before the appointment I received a text let me know my tech was on the way. The text included a picture so I knew who to expect. Michael came to check the situation and then explain it to me and the cost would be. We set up a date to do the work and he showed up with an assistant and they did a great job. They were professional, polte, and very efficient. I love in a mobile home and not all companies will work with them. I was very pleased with my interaction with each of the employees I interacted with and do the service they provided.

I am a 75 year old and single woman, and have had trouble finding a contractor who will actually take the time to completely explain the project, and how it will be done. All of the employees of the company go above and beyond in their work, and do an outstanding job.

I chose to go with Lighten up because of the friendly, respectful people they have. Michael came out to the house to review the job and give me a quote. He was able to give me a quote in my price range for the job I needed to get done. He was a cheerful professional person at all times, despite some issues getting a journeyman to join him and to make the job go faster. Michael tends to be a little forgetful about collecting his tools at the end of the job, but I would still hire him again. When you need work done, having nice people around makes the job easier and much more pleasant. Thanks again!

Good job and service. Spent a lot of time talking and trying to convince us to become a member for almost 200$ / yr. Had to ask him to do the job we hired him for, replace ice machine water line. He had to reconnect valves. Took an extra long time to complete work. We are not sure yet if we will join membership. Electric and plumbing, heater service and AC.

"We are sorry you did have a positive experience with us but we will never cut corners or take short cuts to compromise the quality of our work. We cannot offer the same level of service our customers deserve and expect at the same rate as the cheap guys charge. We understand that we will not be a match for everyone, but our goal is to provide the best value for the money by giving the best service and quality of work, not to be the lowest priced contractor. 30% of our work comes from re doing or fixing work done by the lower priced guys. Those customers end up paying twice. Once a low price and then again to have it done properly."
