They knew what needed to be done and what supplies would be required. When the tech got here, he had to go to Home Depot to purchase the supplies (not positively impressed). While the work was done correctly, it took him about 1.5 hours (inc. H-D) and the bill worked out to between $550 and $600 per hour (total bill almost $950). The techs get to set their own prices. Others had given me a phone estimate of about $300 plus parts with parts on the truck. I feel I was grossly over-charged and while they did great work back in 2017, never again. I don't like being taken advantage of. Money's too hard to come by for retirees. I DO NOT recommend these folks. Besides, the tech started getting pushy about getting the maintenance contract. Just like other big-name HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing companies these days.

Joshua was a technician that came out, explained everything carefully I felt confident in what he had to say and did! He had all parts needed at the time on his truck. It’s been a few days now and everything is working beautifully. I would highly recommend them for their patients as they explain things to someone who knows nothing about HVAC units! I would definitely recommend them.

Good service, they even got to me 2 days ahead of the original scheduling, but the parts mark up was way too high almost 300%.

Electrical Pro found some wiring issues and made the appropriate adjustments so now I have full use of some plugs, light switches and disposal all in good working condition.

They were very friendly and did the job to the upmost satisfaction. The heating unit area is very clean and the unit is very nice. It heats up my 1700 square foot house. I’ve been doing business with this company for 20 years and they always do a wonderful job. They clean up and never leave anything behind.

had Lightfoot install a Generac on my house. Technicians were very knowledgeable and worked with me on where to position the system. Work was done in a timely manner and finished up with a walk through to make sure everything was working as it should be. Would recommend/ use Lightfoot Mechanical for future HVAC/Electrical/plumbing issues.

Our HVAC system quit. Lightfoot was super prompt in arriving & diagnosing our problem, and giving us our options for repair/replacement with a cost comparison for each. They knowledgeably answered all our questions. We made the decision to replace our unit. The techs arrived on time for the installation. Again, answered all our questions during the process. They showed us photos of the final attic installation & explained basic maintenance/operation for this unit. We are very pleased with Lightfoot Mechanical.

This ?pro? came out 3 times and did not get the AC working. First they replaced the two-run capacitor. The unit worked for less than a day and quit. The next day they came out, said they needed to replace the condenser motor and that would fix it. The unit ran for about 8 hours and quit. They came back the next day and replaced a relay they said did not really need replacing. The unit ran from Monday morning to Wednesday morning and quit. Now they will not call me back. I have contacted a different company to fix this unit. I will never use these people again for anything. Update 7-25-2025 --This is an update to my previous review. Lightfoot did finally get my AC unit working, but it took five days while we are in the midst of a heat advisory. The last time a tech came out, the only thing he did was switch out the thermostat. The unit has continued to work since then. I would hate to think that I have paid $1500 for repairs when the only thing really needed Was a different thermostat. I will assume that all the work they did was necessary, but I still would not use this company again. Sauce on the bottom.

Customer service was great. I always call Lightfoot Mechanical for my electrical (and AC/Heating) needs. I don't trust anyone else.

If I vould give 10 stars I would. Next day service for RV electrical hookups. On time, very professional, amazing work. Added breakers and outlets in the shop where it was very hot. Never complained and worked until the job was done. I can’t express how much I appreciate this tech and company. They even left the shop cleaner than when they came! I will never use any other company for plumbing or electrical in the future. Thanks guys!

Dylan came and did a check on our air conditioner and changed a filter and a bad compasiter he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and Friendly.

Mike figured out the issue quickly and ordered the part to replace, everything fixed and completed within 2 days. Very helpful, good information and communication.

My Lightfoot technicians are all pro's and they all do a great job. They are polite & helpful with any questions that I may have. I also had a plumbing inspection & that was done very well too. Their employee's are great with us customers

The technician, ?Fish,? came out , diagnosed the problem, and started working on getting the part. He returned the next day, installed the part and checked everything else to make sure our AC is working as it should. He answered all of my questions and explained how the new keypad works with our system. We?re very satisfied with him and the company.

BEWARE, Unethical. You choose if you want to hire this kind of company. I purchased their service HVAC maintenance contract for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Work completed as expected along with attempts to up-sell repairs. Fall of 2024 I called for my furnace checkup. They told me they no longer serviced my area(75019). I requested a refund for remainder of my contract since THEY CANCELLED it. They denied the refund saying the discounts I received under previous contract service exceeded the amount of my remaining contract. That is taking back the contractual discounts they had given me. REMEMBER THEY CANCELLED THE CONTRACT.

Excellent service

Lightfoot seems to be very good at customer service. They were easy to work with, gave us a free estimate, where the other companies we talked to were going to charge us a lot just to show up. The job was expensive but we were kind of expecting that. It was done quickly and efficiently. Very impressed and will likely use them again.

Once the pro arrived he got right to work on the problem and had it fixed within the hour. Very professional thank you!!
