Scheduled 3 movers for 9am. 2 movers showed up at 9:45am. One was a tiny person who couldn't lift much. The 3rd mover showed up at 10:30 but only stayed for 3 hours. We were charged for their truck which could have been used to bring furniture from the garage at the back of the property, but instead, the truck sat empty and the movers slowly carted stuff about 80 yards. Even after a hefty tip to each mover, we were still overcharged. Charged for 3 movers at 24 hours of labor and a truck, but the truck wasn't used and the movers were there for 15 hours. No answer or return call when calling the office to dispute the charges.

Doug Sheffield, the owner of Lighthouse Movers, was very accessible and promptly gave me an all inclusive estimate to move my home belongings from St. Augustine to Venice,Fl. On the day of the move, Three movers Chris, Austin, and Ron showed up and wrapped my furniture and carefully loaded it into the truck. they worked tirelessly for 5 hours and Travis and Austin drove it to Venice and unloaded it the next day. i was very happy with the hard work and professionalism of Lighthouse movers and I would highly recommend them.

From beginning to end, Lighthouse Movers was beyond professional. All questions were answered in a timely manner and took care of furniture and belongings as if it was their own. On time with no surprises. Would highly recommend you use their service.

Lighthouse was a very professional and customer service focused mover. From the first estimate walk through to the delivery at the final destination was first rate. Every team member was helpful and friendly. I have moved numerous times with the military and this was the best experience ever!

Over promised, under-delivered. I do not recommend for out of state move. Had employees that contracted Covid-19 even though I informed owner Doug Sheffield of our personal compromised health conditions. Had 1 employee for delivery instead of 2-3 company employees and I had to turn away the hired day laborer who showed up in a dirty t-shirt and clothes and refused to wear masks. I ended up moving half if not more boxes. The 1 employee that drove the truck forgot tools to assemble furniture and piano, had to use mine. Did not even bring furniture dollies (they are movers!) and had to use mine. Damaged furniture and have not received claim form as promised from owner Doug Sheffield 4 days after the move. This was the most expensive of the moving companies but we went local to support local business. We do not recommend and should not be an option. I will be contacting BBB as well.

Everyone was amazing! It was a stressful move for my elderly mother moving from Florida to the East Coast. Doug and his team were so patient and attentive to all of her needs. If I trusted them with my Mom then that should say it all- AWESOME!!!!

Julie & Doug S in St Augustine Doug gave us an estimate for our coast to coast move of over 3,000 miles after visiting our home (3 BD and 2 offices) twice, and he was cordial, professional and assured. The day the movers arrived, the team was organized, upbeat and worked carefully and efficiently; they were ever buoyant over many hours! They brought ample boxes for clothes and linens; and we hired Lighthouse to pack the dishes (many boxes) and Shawn was fast and exceptional with his care in getting it done. Several weeks later, the unpacking has been completed, and the results are NOTHING was broken. The excellent service moving us in (much of it upstairs) resulted in NO damage to our new home. These guys were awesome.

Right on time with my long distance move. Very careful, wrapping things and packing the truck. I gave them nice tips, for excellent work. I would highly recommend them

I can’t say enough about these guys! They did an amazing job for me! Completely packed out everything for me and moved me across the state. They unloaded On time and were careful with everything and were so professional! My sincere appreciation to Danny, Shawn, Jennifer, Nate, Travis and all the rest!!! Would recommend them all highly to anyone. You won’t go wrong working with them! Would use them again no question! Thank you guys!!!!!

Lighthouse Movers moved my elderly mom to a managed care facility. They were very courteous and respectful of everyone while quickly getting the job done with short notice. I live 450 miles away so completely relied on them to handle it. If you find yourself needing to move an older parent, hire Lighthouse Movers!

Competive bid knowledgeble estimator

Came 7 hours late (instead of 9 am came at 4pm). We were frustrated. However, they worked very hard. They did a good job. Next day crew came 2 hours late. Again worked very well. Crew manager, Sean, was fantastic. If customer service improves logistics, company would be rated much higher. We also did not appreciate constant change of originally estimated price.

Came late but worked very hard. Professional, throughout. All furnishings were wrapped and came through with no issues.

Lighthouse Movers is fantastic the crew was the best I’ve had in all of my moves and the front office service was impeccable from start to finish and follow up. I will be using lighthouse for all of my moves from now on!

Ask for them to start early

These guys did a great job, never stopping! They treated our goods with respect and care. We have several very old antiques and the team was very careful to ensure their safety. Have already recommended them to a friend. Clean and quick, we got it all done in about 2/3 of the time we expected.
