We hired Lightning Defense to install lightning rods on our home after a friend lost his home to a fire caused by lightning. Lightning defense was extremely knowledgeable, and helped dispel myths regarding lightning rods (such as lightning rods attract lightning). Communication was great throughout, and the job was completed quickly and professionally. The rods are barely visible from the street, and look quite nice. I would highly recommend researching lightning rods, and consider Lightning Defense for the job. I feel much more secure knowing that my home has an added layer of protection, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company for the job.

On tlme, very pleasant,EXPLAINED every detail of installation and especially liked when John said if we ever replace our roof please let him know,as LD will come and remove rods and then put them back free of charge,because some roofers just cover over the bases,AND no money till we were satisfied,THAT is only The kind of contractors I have ever hired. Thank you John.

In my twenty-six years as a consultant to the construction industry I have never dealt with a better contractor. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with John Sherlock and his wife. They are hardworking people whose first concern is doing a good job for their client and meeting the client's needs, including scheduling. They are knowledgeable, competent, and efficient. They did the job immediately after being hired and they did a great job hiding the ground cables. They were unable to finish the job on the same day but told me they would complete it the next morning and they did. Since their firm is located over an hour away I was suspect. They did what they said they would do. Kept me informed as to their progress and even told me when they left for lunch. Highly recommend John and will get him more work in the Villages.
