Showed up on time and diagnosed my problem in a timely manner.

He contacted me quick came the next day said he could fix the problem he charged $109 for him to cut a hose but was not fixed and called back he charged again and still didn't fix it and now cant get a hold of him.

He came, acknowledged the problem with the washer. I then wrote him a check for the part and installation because he had to order the part. He never came back. Never responded to my texts and now has disappeared.

Mr. Lively was hired to repair my fridge that had stopped defrosting. He quickly determine the issue and billed me for service and part. Said he would rush the part to get the fridge working as I have a large family. I wrote him a check in full (learned my lesson the hard way), and the check has been cashed. Four days go by and I call Michael to get an update. He tells me that he could not rush the part, and that he will call me to schedule an appointment when the part comes in. Two days later I text him for an update, and he responds that is Father got sick and passed away, but he would call and reschedule after the services. Just to confirm, I did look in the obituary and I believe his father did pass. I waited four days after the services to text. I have yet to receive a reply. Two days further from my test and he phone number on his card and on Home Advisor is no longer in service. I have had Home Advisor trying to reach him as well. Mr. Lively, I completely understand that sometimes life can get rough, and I am sorry to hear about your father. I will gladly remove this review or change the rating, but please contact me and lets discuss what we can do to rectify the situation.

Do NOT call this company because they are not a legit company.

We hired Michael Lively of Lively Services to repair a washing machine; we paid for the parts and labor in advance, approx $196.29. We tried to make contact with Lively Services on several occasions after the initial service call was made. Calls to Lively Services are now being directed to a Verizon Payment Center. We have initiated a small claims court case against Lively Services. We hired a reputable appliance repair firm that correctly diagnosed and repaired the problems. Turns out that the problems originally diagnosed by Lively Services were fictional/non-existent. This subcontractor intentionally set out to scam us and has reportedly scammed over a dozen other home owners in the Tennessee Valley.

Lively Services (Mike Lively) ripped us off. He took $197 from us to order parts to repair our appliance almost two weeks ago. Never returned to complete the repair; never called and his phone is disabled. HomeAdvisor has not helped resolve the problem...they don’t have any more information on their “Pro” than I have. Be very careful using anyone associated with HomeAdvisor.

Rip off! Michael came to our house to diagnose and fix refrigerator problem. Once diagnosing the problem, he asked us for a check for his service fee and for the cost of the part and shipping. We wrote Mr. Lively a check and he has never returned to our home to install the part. We have called and left him numerous messages, and he has not retuned a single call. We have called the authorities and the better business bureau!

Took two trips for a small job. Late the first time and sent a sub the second. Overcharged and promised a refund. A month later and they will not answer my calls or texts. Reported to BBB of Knoxville.

BBB complaint. Please if you are reading this review - DO. NOT. HIRE. THIS. CONTRACTOR. He will steal your money and run. Contacted through HomeAdvisor. He called me on Oct. 25 at 1:23 pm. We scheduled for Oct. 26 at 11 am. He arrived and brought a part with him. Without seeming to do any diagnostics he went to work replacing this part. He then told me to turn off circuit to dishwasher for 30 minutes to "reset" it. He made a bill for $70 service fee plus $105 for "synchronous" motor plus tax. Total was $194.25. I wrote a check and he left. After 30 minutes I loaded the dishwasher and turned it on. Within five minutes I got the E7 error. I immediately called Michael at 1:08 p.m. He texted back and said "In traffic will call back as soon as I can sorry for the inconvenience" I replied back "thanks" At 2:36 p.m. (Note, checked my bank account and check already cashed) I texted him back and said "Hey. Can you come back today?" He replied and said, "It will have to be tomorrow morning. I am on my way to funeral home my father passed away Monday and attending services at 4 p.m.". I replied back "Oh gosh. So sorry. I'll be busy until 4 pm tomorrow." He replied immediately saying "Ok soon as I'm done I'll call and scheduled best time for you. Sorry for the inconvenience." On 10/26 at 3:56 p.m. I replied back "ok". On 10/28 at 10:03 am I texted Michael and said "Hey. I need my dishwasher....when will you be able to come?" At 10:27 he replied back and said "I ordered a water valve part comes in Monday I will call you when the delivery shows up for scheduling." I immediately replied back, "You sure it's the water valve. I've already paid for that motor and that didn't seem to fix problem". On Monday 10/30/17 at 8:41 I texted Michael and said, "You going to be able to come today?" He replied back at 10:01 and said "Getting parts together now wil call you in a few". I replied back "ok". At 5:30 p.m. I texted him and said "Hey. We're you able to get the part?" No response. On October 31 at 8:59 a.m. I texted him again "Hey. You get parts?". No response. At 9:05 I called and got voice mail. I left a message. No response. At 10:34 a.m. I called and left a message. No response. On 11/1 at 9:55 a.m. I called and got a Verizon service message and a disconnect. On 11/1 at 10:39 a.m. I called and got the same Verizon service message. On Nov 2 at 9:25 am I called and got no connection -- call dropped. I then contacted HomeAdvisor and they gave me the email address for the business. On Nov 1 at 2:32 pm I sent an email to the address on file with HomeAdvisor. The email said: Hi - I have contacted HomeAdvisor and have initiated a complaint. Please respond. I'm requesting a full refund at this point. I have tried multiple times to schedule a return visit and repair of my Samsung dishwasher. As a reminder--- Michael came on Thursday to repair my Samsung Waterwall dishwasher. Michael repaired a synchronous motor. The bill was $194.25. He told me to keep circu

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Michael came to our home to repair our refrigerator on October 23rd. We were told that we needed to replace a relay. We wrote him a check to cover his service fee and the cost and shipping of the part. We were told, and as stated on his invoice, that this was a two day turnaround. As of October 31st, after numerous attempts to contact Michael, and leaving several voicemail's, he has not responded, or even attempted to reach out to us.

They did a great job repairing my washer. However they were supposed to call me about another project but I never heard from them.

I hired Michael to repair 3 appliances for me, he asked me for 2 checks for parts and labor for a total of $681.59, 2 weeks later he called me and said the he needed to talk to me about the parts and I called him numerable of times and I have not heard from him since and I am afraid that he took our money and will not come back to fix our appliances

Misdiagnosed the problem. Money spent on service call and parts wasted. First time user of Home Advisor. Not a good experience

Mr. Lively was prompt, worked quickly and knowledgeably. Was surprised by how little it cost. Great young man!

The ONLY reason I gave Lively services a 1 star and half star ratings is because I HAD TO or this system would not allow me to comment. Trust me, LIVELY SERVICES IS A COMPLETE ZERO. He originally came out on September 21 and today is October 7th and my ice maker (my ice maker in the freezer was out) was just installed today. This is the second ice maker he has installed. The first apparently was a used unit that shot water out into the floor. (We never told him it was OK to use a pre owned unit) Today was a supposed new one that still does not work. By looking at it, I am not sure even sure it is the correct one. Lively has missed 4 or 5 appointments. I have heard the ENTIRE catalog of excuses. He sent an employee to fix it, and the employee never showed, his daughter locked herself out of the house, and his daughter cut herself. The appointments he has bothered to show for he was EXTREMELY LATE. Again with the entire catalog of excuses. I will be DEMANDING A REFUND and making sure LIVELY SERVICES never steps foot on my property again, other to pick up this ice maker!!!! My opinion is to stay clear!!!! Call someone else!!!!

Very quick response - arrived at my home within three hours of requesting service on a Saturday. Microwave oven repaired very efficiently and quickly. Will use Lively Services again!

Mr. Lively is punctual, knowledgeable and meticulous in his work.

At first was told that couldn't come til next day, then called and said he would work me in and came late evening. Didn't have parts to fix, was to get or order next day and have fixed within 2 days. Three days later. I called and he said he would call about part and let me know. Next day he finally called at 3:45 pm and said it would be Monday if he got the part. That morning I called another repair service who arrived at 4 pm and had it repaired in an hour and it was not the problem that parts were ordered for. 9 days is too long to be without a fridge.

They made a house call to check the freezer. I gave them a check for parts and labor, scheduled a return. The night before I received a message to call them. There was No answer. I called three times the next day and they were a no-show. I called the following day the number was disconnected. I called the bank.
