Austin took my payment of $1200 and never completed the job. He dropped off a kid to weed my yard and the kid had no food, water, or car so he sat on my porch all day waiting for a ride. He had a guy rip out ground cover and left it in a pile on my grass, which killed my grass. He had a million excuses and never showed up when he said he would. The court entered a judgment against him to pay me back.

If you like calling a contractor every week after they don't show up and hear new excuses, having a 2 day job take 6 months, having it cost thousands more than it should have, and bounced checks for the money they owe you, Austin is your man.

Do not hire him. August 2023 I put half down for a 16x27 paver patio with boulder retaining wall,drainage, steps, stone benches and lighting. It was to start Aug and be complete by he said end of October. At the time he had some good references and a good google review. But after he got my 50% deposit he/crew worked maybe 3-4 total days in 2023. With many excuses, no shows and breakdowns of excavator. He said heâ d work through winter but he stopped responding to my calls and texts in November. Then did one days work (actually subcontracted to another company) to put base stone down on Feb 26 and since then he wonâ t respond to my calls or texts. If i saw him working on my next door neighbors project, which he did poorly and is incomplete ( see Evrenâ s review ) , heâ d tell me heâ s bringing the wall boulders in a few days; then wouldn't show up or call. All winter and to this day I have had a pile of stone on my small driveway. He left tools and drain pipes all over my yard/patio area, which is unuseable with dirt piles and equipment tracks. He lies to me and neighbor (we verify it a lot) and wonâ t respond to my requests for refund. More than $13000 deposit lost to him and he has no money. And many days of my time lost in discussion, frustration ,preparing for his work or waiting for him to not show up. In February, I even tried offering a bonus of thousands of dollars Extra to finish and he set a date in a contract. Other contractor will have to cleanup his mess now.

We hired Austin for concrete and some landscaping. It expanded to adding a block feature. Like all the other reviews, it took constant hounding to get him to do anything. He says he does concrete, but that is subbed out. That is the only part that went right. He does not supervise his crew and they did not know how to install landscaping fabric, so there is exposed grass throughout. I should have done this myself. At least then it would have been done correctly and need redone in a few years. I am amazed I have a complete project after reading the other reviews. Avoid using this company, it will save you in the long run.

My project was started well over a year ago, he made lots of excuses and told me id be firt project this year. I wasn't! He told me he bought my block, he didnt because i verified that with block company. He will not refund my money. I am going to Wash. Co. Prosecutor's office. Austin has done this to other people as well. Not at all reputable, File a complaint, perhaps prosecutor will shut him down.

Beware of this company at all costs, worst experience ever. Excuse after excuse, he has been paid more than $10000+ as down payment. Austin Lobbestael has barely progressed on the job which he was contracted last August. Job site is a mess with debris and equipment all around all expose hazard and injury to our kids and others. Austin still owes me $1,500 from a project I put a deposit on in March 2023. I have had to hound him via text, email, and call constantly since March to get any sort of movement on my projects and he had outlandish excuse after excuse every time. He still has equipment at my property that he left and never picked up, and after going back and forth for months he finally said he would refund me. He's told me three times he processed the refund and I have yet to receive it. Reading other reviews, it is clear he is running a robbing Peter to pay Paul scheme and has no real financial foundation for his business. I have wasted HOURS of my life dealing with this and hope this review, and the others you see here, steers everyone else clear from this. Do. not. waste. your. time. Stay away.

I hired Lobbestael Landscaping in mid August to lay brick and fieldstone for my landscaping job. I also hired him to do minor electrical and carpentry work. Gave him half down for each job. What I have gotten is excuse after excuse for all the missed appointments. I also never heard from him unless I initiated the conversations. I have asked for reimbursement and his check to me for one of the projects ended up NSF. His other type of reimbursement for the other project through Square has not come through either after waiting two weeks. Mr. Austin is a dishonest young man and therefore do not recommend him.

This project should have been done last June, the fence installation is poor and uneven, when Austin tried to fix this one of the panels is now split and compromised. Still not right as of September 21,23. Extremely disappointed and this business is overpaid for this job. Excuse after excuse why this is not done, never shows up. Will seek reimbursement on overpayment. Very poor communication. Decided not to have him do the other half of job as this is a very poor job and unacceptable!
