Almost instant contact after I searched them out here on HomeAdvisor. Very easy to work with on scheduling. Appeared for estimate appointment early. Did thorough walk through. Gave quick estimate on two-tree removal and grinding job. Won the bid over three others. Workers showed up on time, did a fast and complete job. I found the work crew professional, energetic, and polite. Their equipment was top notch and made the job a lot easier, and more important, quicker. I have recommended them to three of my friends who are real estate agents and would recommend them to anyone looking for a tree removal job. At least call them and give them a chance to estimate your job.

I rarely submit reviews but I feel compelled to make an exception in this case. To sum up, Jason not only delivered in terms of the quality of service but also demonstrated trustworthiness and focus on customer care that are so rare these days. The job in question involved cutting down a large tree and removing debris. I called a number of services and Jason was the first to respond. Unlike others, he showed up on the agreed time, gave me an estimate and was ready to take on the work. I offered him the job and we agreed to start work the same day. But in less than an hour, I was forced to rescind the agreement in favor of another contractor enlisted by a neighbor. In response to my call to rescind the agreement, Jason was very polite and understanding. In fact, Jason pointed out certain issues to lookout for to make sure the job is done properly. And when the other contractor quoted an unreasonably high price, I reached out to Jason again. He accepted the job and showed up the very next day with his crew. The tree removal was by no means an easy task as the crew had to navigate around very tight spaces and unexpected rain. But the crew completed the difficult job without a hitch, under Jason's close supervision. But that is not where this story ends. While I was indifferent to, and did not ask Jason to shave down the tree stump, my neighbor did care. Not only did Jason come back to shave down the stump (and it took two separate trips due to circumstances beyond our control), he did so without charging us any additional fee. Jason explained that, for him, it was simply a matter of finishing the job. Needless to say, his action spoke loudly and clearly about the man and his company. He will be the only tree cutting firm for me.

Project was grinding up two very large stumps which were uprooted (out of the ground). Jason and his brother did a very thorough job and honored his original estimate (from a photo) despite the work being more involved than he expected. I would definitely use him again.

A great experience all around. Jason and his team are second to none. Jason came out for an estimate last night and my job was completed by 4 pm today. I had 2 trees trimmed and 3 large trees removed. The 3 removals were in about a 7 square yard area between my house, garage and my neighbors house. They didnt touch a thing. It was truly impressive to watch a team of professionals know exactly what needs to be done and execute it flawlessly. Even after 8 hours of trimming and removing trees they did a fantastic job cleaning up. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs tree work done and I will use them again. Great job!

Jason and his crew were superb! The work entailed removing a very tall tree located in our front yard. The team of professionals assessed the risks to our home and neighboring houses and cut the tree with precision and expertise. The team removed all of the lumber and limbs, for a fair and reasonable cost. I would recommend Local Boys Tree Service, LLC without exception or hesitation!

I loved their work ethics. They were on time and clean. Had enough people to work and everyone worked and they were nice and waved at me when I looked out the door. Very quick workers. Showed experience. Most of the crew were family. I loved their cleanliness when they finished the job, everything was neat and clean. Would hire them in a heart beat.

Working with Jason was great. We discussed everything in detail and when I came home from work on the day the job was completed, my yard was not torn up. Local Boys Tree Service did a great job removing the stump, roots and filled the holes. The tree was next to a glass sun room and they protected all of the glass with plywood. You cannot ask for a better company to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend their service to family and friends.

Send in the Clowns! Local Boys Tree Service is hands-down the most poorly run and dishonest "company" (if there's a commercial license there, it's in hiding) I have had the displeasure to deal with. Over the course of two months this summer, uncles, sons, and fathers all representing the tree service came to bid and plan a tree removal job for me. On a weekly basis, they proceeded to modify the bid, fail to show up for the work on 3 separate occasions, rescheduled the work 3 other times, and finally flat out lied that they would return only to follow up with a "we've changed our minds"! Truly if you'e looking to waste your time then this is the group for you. If you want to work with people who are trustworthy, professional, and stand behind their written quote, then do yourself a favor and find a reputable company to do business with instead.

The person you were in touch with who provided you a quote was a relative who is not an owner, or a representative of this company. He runs his own jobs unrelated to our company. He underbid your job, then realized it, and handed it over to us to figure out how to get it done. My husband tried so hard to figure out how to make it happen, going back a couple times and re running the numbers. Because of how underbid the job was in the beginning there was no way to make it work on our end. I apologize for the bad experience on your end. We got sucked into a no win situation here. Because the main dealings you had were not even with our company, this is not a fair review of how we run our business. If you reached out to Local Boys Tree Service directly for your original tree work estimate, I assure you this would not have been your experience. After evaluating the high risk for the low estimate that was given by the other party we decided not to proceed. Conveniently, the person you were originally dealing with, does not have business pages to write bad reviews on. ;) I understand your frustration and no doubt would feel the same way in your shoes. We would love to rate Local Boys with all 5 stars, but they didn't finish the job they were hired to do, and it's been several weeks since they said they would finish. We have one last stump to remove, and Local Boys did not call Miss Utility, as they said they would, or respond to requests to finish. We called Miss Utility ourselves and called Local Boys to finish, but they have not shown up when they said they would. They cashed the check quickly, though.
