"Thank you for the feedback. We want to provide an accurate account of this project for anyone researching our company. The scope of work contracted and completed at this property included: full removal of the existing wood trim surrounding the front door and both sidelights; furnishing and installing new cellular PVC exterior trim in place of the removed wood; moisture protection and sealing at trim transitions; sealing of all trim joints and edges; painting of all newly installed trim; replacement of the door bottom weather seal; checking and securing the threshold seal; and disposal of all removed materials. This is not a capping service. The existing wood was removed. New PVC was installed in its place. Structural framing and door jambs were not part of the quoted scope and were not included in the signed estimate. This was documented in writing prior to work beginning, reviewed by the customer, and accepted. The customer confirmed his understanding of the scope in his own words before scheduling. He paid the deposit on March 23 and paid the balance in full on April 23, the day the work was completed, with no objection to the scope or price at that time. A follow-up visit was completed on May 7 at no charge under our customer satisfaction guarantee to adjust the door latch. The door was tested on site and functioning as expected at the close of that visit. No further issue was reported to us before formal complaints were filed. A credit card dispute was filed on May 8, 2026 -- before the customer's own stated deadline in his certified letter. That dispute has since been resolved by the card network. The BBB complaint filed in this matter was closed as Answered, with BBB acknowledging that we responded quickly and in good faith.
