Do not use this moving company. They will intentionally prolong your time to move boxes in order to charge you extra money. They will damage your apartment/home during the move and will not process your claim unless you purchase additional insurance.

It was the worst moving experience I have ever dealt with or even heard of. Tonya Garcia is a scam artist that tells you everything you want to hear to book them. Then when they showed up 3.5 hrs late, broke a dolly and moved much slower than it should of taken, made a hr drive take over 2hrs with no explanation, she tells you that you signed the contract and it says this or that and you have to follow procedures if you want to file a claim. Made me pay full price for that hot garbage. Do NOT use this company even if it is the ONLY option, I am still having to move stuff and put my furniture together because they did not do it.

For the record, this was the structure of your LONG DISTANCE 3 bedroom+ move: Point A to (B)storage to (C) Apartment. You did not have a storage room prior to arriving at the storage location, therefore delaying the whole move (you were never charged for the waiting time at the storage). As per your comments:?Then when they showed up 3.5 hrs late? Unfortunately, because of technical issues with the truck assigned to your move, however, a 4th mover was assigned to your move for free, and we also gave several hours, again for free, which you accepted gratefully. We at Local Movings make it a high priority to deliver affordability, reliability, and quality, If we disappoint someone, we want it to be the last time. Thank you for going to the trouble to write to us. We always appreciate comments from our customers so we can serve you better."

Jose and his crew (3 people in total) were super friendly, nice, and funny. They were quick and efficient, and handled all of our belongings with care. I just had my walls painted and have new flooring, so I asked that them to be careful not to messed them up. They were extremely careful taking things upstairs which was not easy because I have a turn in my staircases, so I image they are quite difficult to navigate especially while carrying heavy things. They did an EXCELLENT job!! The best part - I prepaid for 4 hours and these guys were so good, they did the job in 3hrs and saved me $100. I would recommend this company and team to EVERYONE!

I had 4 men to pack my belongings and put them in 3 PODS for storage until my house was built. They worked well for 14 hours, but when my PODS were full, they said they were done. I went inside my house and found everything was not packed. I had to finish the packing myself the next day. Then I found they had put my live houseplants inside the PODS. I was only able to find 2 of the 7 plants. I then noticed how they were not careful with my belongings. I found lamps that were just thrown in and the lampshades were completely crushed.

This was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Tanya is an excellent communicator and clearly has a passion for her job. It happened to be raining on and off the day of my move and she kept in touch with me throughout the morning as the movers were on their way. Not only did they monitor the weather closely, but when they arrived, they were very respectful of my home and made sure not to track water or mud throughout my home in the carpeted areas. The guys were amazing gentlemen and I was thrilled with the level of service I got for such a low price. In combination with being affordable, excellent service is important too and I wish for this company to continue thriving!!! I am definitely telling everyone I know about this great moving experience and I am using them again in the future for sure!!!

I hired 3 movers for 2 hours as advertised. The original move was scheduled for 2pm however, I assume due to scheduling changes, they called and asked me if 11:30 was ok, which I told them that was fine. The three men showed up and were polite the entire move however, were extremely slow. I moved out of a 1bed/1bath 650 sq ft apt & it took almost the entire 2 hours to unload my things. At 1 hour and 35 mins in, I asked the movers to simply take what they have in the truck and that I would move the remainder of my things myself. I was extremely frustrated as the clock was ticking and they moved leisurely the entire project. Two different times all 3 dollies were left in the living room while they were at the truck so I am unsure what occured then. Additionally, one of the movers dropped my wooden bed slacks (two broken) and there was no apology at all as I picked them up off the elevator floor. I am still unsure why it took so long and was unhappy with the attempt to charge me full price although I paid a week prior to the move. This should have been known up front. Two years ago, I hired TWO men who were able to unload my old apartment, drive to the new place and unload into my new apartment in 2 1/2 hours. It was almost as if these movers were milking the clock. Again, they were friendly and may I add, they assisted me by loading a bedroom dresser on a coworker's truck for me which was greatly appreciated but overall, I was disappointed.

The team was impressively quick and thorough. I had a multi-stop move, scheduled them for pick up at my apartment with a stop to empty a storage unit to have all delivered to my new home in addition to their assistance to unload two PODS units. These guys were amazing.
