I was so dreading this project due to all the work involved. Rick made the project much easier than I ever dreamed it would be! He promptly communicated with us, took his time and explained the process, moved the furniture and replaced everything in its right spot. Most importantly the floors looked brand new. The color and finish absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Rick. He’s polite and very easy to work with.

I thought my old wooden floors couldn’t be adequately repaired due to age and damage, but I was totally “floored” (pun for the win!) when I saw the job he did. Floor looked absolutely amazing, and he even perfectly matched a section of floor that a past owner had haphazardly slapped down! Definitely worth the money I paid, and would definitely recommend him to others in the future.

Working with Locke Hardwood Floors was a complete joy! Rick called me back very quickly, gave an extremely competitive bid, and was willing to work with a schedule that allowed us to keep all of the furniture on the second floor of the house, where the floors were being refinished. The refinished floors are stunningly beautiful! We asked to match the upstairs finish to the downstairs, and the finish matches so well that you would never suspect that the floors were done at different times. As someone whose name is on the business, Rick should be very proud of the quality of work and quality of service provided by his company. I would highly recommend Locke Hardwood Floors to anyone needing floor refinishing and absolutely would hire them again without hesitation.

As we are based out of town, we arranged everything with Rick remotely. For the estimate, we offered pictures to save him the trip, but he opted to go anyway. He made every step easy, and sent a couple pics to us while work was in progress. We haven't seen them in person, but the pics look amazing! Throughout the process, Rick clearly showed a passion for his work, and was patient with our questions.

Locke Hardwoods were more than I expected. The floors turned out better than I could ve ever imagined. They look like they are brand new floors even though they only refinished them. The color was exactly what I wanted even though it was hard for me to explain and the finish is perfect. They showed up on time and got the job done in 2 days! The other company I looked at said a week. They were completely knowledgeable and spent the time explaining to me how to take care of my new floors. I will ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anybody looking to have their floors done. 10/10 couldn t have been happier!

He tried hard to correct the puddles in the finish coat which he had applied. I didn't call him back after the 5th? 6th? repair attempt because scraping the puddles off each time seemed to be gouging the floor. The floor still has obvious places from scraping and reapplying finish several times on the puddled areas which I covered with a rug.He even used 2 different batches of finish,hoping the first batch was simply old, but it still puddled as if it was applied too heavily. He was a very nice person and as I said, did his best to make it right, but for whatever reason, it just didn't work.

UNBELIEVABLY GREAT. Refinished and repaired all hardwood floors in 1928 MK home including 3 BR, hall, LR, DR, stairway. Professional, fast, clean, perfect. Installed new treads as needed, seamlessly installed new hardwood as needed, quarter round installed, molding. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and the quote/cost 1/3 less than the next lowest bid.

Rick Locke and team did everything they promised, and completed the job ahead of schedule. We had kitchen, entry and bath floors refinished and a new dining room wood floor and wood stairs (treads / risers) installed. Our 17 year old wood floors look brand new, and our new dining room floor matches beautifully. More competitive on price vs. our other quote, too. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough great things about Rick and his crew. They refinished existing floor and also laced in new hardwood throughout whole house to include stairs. They also installed new trim and molding. Felt more like family than contractors working in our home. The finished product is gorgeous and turned an average home into a beauty.
