This guy Orel showed up, he did a good job but definitely over charging he wanted $685 for changing a door knob. After negotiating down to half It got done. Lastly, he was pretty rude and disrespectful to a young lady that was present asking questions. Acted entitled I Would not recommend.

Do not use this company. It is a swindle. They will not give an estimate over the phone. We were locked out of our apartment on a Sunday, and they said someone would arrive in 20 minutes. Over two hours later, Manuel arrives, barely looks at the lock, takes out a drill, and destroys the lock. It took him less than 90 seconds to do this. He tells us it is $65 for a service call and $275 for getting into the apartment. Manuel informs us he can sell us a lock for $60. That was convenient after he destroyed the lock. We declined the offer. The company operates under other names. Allegedly, Sean Saba owns the business. The receipt had no company name or number. It just said Locksmith Services. I was outraged and refused to pay. Sean said he would call the police. A reputable locksmith I spoke to said I should have called his bluff because he is probably unlicensed and uninsured. I knew this was an unprofessional business, so I told Sean I would give Manuel $120. Sean agreed. That proved to me this is a disreputable business. Apparently, swindles are widespread in the locksmith business. Do not use this company.

Locksmith Star Service is excessively expensive. My girlfriend called them to come open an apartment and they charged $600 to open the door. That is not even close to a reasonable price - I would suggest calling any other company but this one. A great example of a company making money by taking advantage of people.

Locksmith Star Service prices are excessive. They charged me $300 to change a front door lock. The service man did not even change the door latch because he claimed the screws were too big. I will NEVER use this company again!!! IF YOUR SEEKING TO HAVE LOCKSMITH WORK DONE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Professional service

Did not fix all the issues quoted and still charged the same price. Was to follow up on a fix for the remaining issue and never called back. I called back, but despite someone from their company having looked at it, refused to provide a quote. They used the standard screws for one installed lock which did not screw in all the way. It seems they farm out jobs to other contractors and so I m wondering if they are more like an answering service vs a real locksmith business. Provided a receipt without a business name. In the end I felt ripped off after I consulted a neighborhood locksmith who found issues with the screws and fixed the other issue which this company didn t.

Sean explained all the problems with the lock I purchased in a thorough and professional manner. What I loved about this company is that they come fully equipped with locks and tools. The entire job was done in less than an hour.

They came the same day of my call, on a Saturday. Installation was smooth and quick.

Was worried this was not a legit biz because their website didn t list any people. They were great and did a super job. I know it took longer than expected but price was as quoted.

I thought that replacing the front door lock, was quite pricey! I was charged 245.00, plus using a debit card,20.00 more. Total cost to replace lock with new keys, was 267.00!

Sean was timely and efficient. Was able to resolve my issue quickly. If you need someone quick and responsive he is your guy.
