I appreciated their prompt reply and service. They were more expensive than I had anticipated, but they also had to do more to install the front door locks. One suggestion I would offer is to not denegrate the customer's choice of locks, or to tell the customer 'no.' There's always a way to make something work, and no one likes to have their purchase put down as not being very good.

I have an antique cabinet that my grandson had fiddles with and locked one of the doors. I didn't have keys that came with the piece but I had a key that had worked before but wouldn't work now. The locksmith got it open and took out the lock so it can't be locked again.

Pricing was a little high but, he was on time and finished the job in no time.

They were able to complete the job, but quoted $90 and charged me $200. I told them over the phone that I needed a specific type of safe opened, but they said that they "thought" I said I needed a door opened.

So far he's been able to get the locks and hinges that I needed and he showed up and completed the work in a timely manner. We are still working on another project together so I would definitely recommend him. He's friendly and personable and seems knowledgable about his line of business.

I said I would recommend this professional because the locks were re-keyed to my specifications and they all work. However, the person who arrived to do the work added $15.00 to the price I was quoted over the phone; I was quoted $185.00 to re-key 6 locks plus $1.00/key, but the gentleman who showed up to do the work charged us $200.00 for the work. We fully intended to tip him and we still did on top of the inflated price. I would probably not use this professional again due to that inconsistency.

The price was double of what was quoted over the phone. Way too expensive, would not recommend to anyone.

They did a good job for us

They did good at doing the job. Was misunderstood on the service call charge at the end of the job.

Eric's right hand man David took excellent care of me. I had a nightmare of a situation with the first guy I hired and I called Eric immeadiately. Even though he was pretty much leaving to go on vacation when I called, he stayed on the phone and got everything set-up for the next day. Excellent Work. Quality Service. Fast, efficient, and nice people too. Highly recommended.

Did not test lock. I could barely turn the dead-bolt. He had to loosen the screws. But he should have made sure it worked properly without my asking. He blamed it on the age of the locks.

Locksmithology was very professional, knowledgeable and prompt with keeping appointments. The quality of work and materials was excellent, and they cleaned up afterwards. If price is very important -- shop around -- my job wasn't cheap; but if quality and workmanship are important, I would recommend Locksmithology.
