They rolled a sealant on my roof. Told me it was guaranteed. First rain it leaked tried to call them phone was disconnected. Tried emailing no reply. The leak is getting worse. (Dis)honest roofing is not recommended. I still want them to fix this or give me my $4,000 refund.

Justin at Honest Roofing came highly recommended and I was initially very impressed. He replaced my shingles in June 2025. The job took longer than I expected and they were extremely sloppy with cleaning up the mess. But, overall I was pleased. Until the first big rain in late July, when I realized my roof was leaking. I tried calling and texting, with no response. Perseverance led to a call back with empty promises. After the 2nd big rain a few weeks later, there was a short visit to my roof and I was told it was fixed. But a big rain in September told me it wasn't. I had to get 2 other contractors involved for 2nd opinions. They both agreed that my entire job was a $hit show. Vents were not nailed back down, no ice&snow underlayment around cooler, cooler not properly secured....the list goes on. Eventually it apparently got fixed, but I still wait to see what happens if we get a big storm.

He was very high priced. Did not pass inspection and did not finish the job. To top it off, our roof is leaking around venting. I rarely saw the owner, only migrant workers who could not speak English to be communicated with.

I was very well pleased with Justin... he communicated very well throughout the project daily. He worked in an exceptionally timely manner. He did an outstanding job and did minor repairs at no additional cost, and his pricing was far more reasonable being the best cost out of the 5 bids I received. The quality of work was also beyond my expectations. I highly recommend him. In fact, I've referred him to my friends and family for major and minor projects. Honestly, I can say his company name really does speak for itself.
