The technician, Jesse, was courteous, hard working and cleaned up the work area when finished. It is a pleasure to hire a company with employees such as Jesse. I would recommend Long Electric to anyone needing quality electrical work done.

I had 2 bathroom exhaust fans that needed to be replaced. I'd tried over the past year using that list from Angie to get someone out to do the work. Either the companies were not interested or in once case, I took the day off work and was simply stood up! I found Long Electric on this site and his reviews were positive so I took a chance. Clay was out within 3 days to take a look at the job. My wife is VERY particular about lighting and she had reservations right up front. He provided us with a quote and allowed us to provide our own fans. On the way out (aside from my wife) I explained to Clay about my concerns that she wouldn't be happy. He shook my hand, and said "Trust me, I'm not calling it done until she's happy with it". Someone came back in the late afternoon and did the work (same day). I hate that I forget his name, but he was friendly, professional and efficient. He worked after 5:00 and I was concerned that would mean a change in the quoted price, but I figured I'd wait to see how all that worked out. Clay called me back the following morning and asked if everything was OK. My wife turned out to LOVE the LED light that they'd installed. I told him how happy we were with the work. That's when something happened that I'd heard about, but never actually experienced: He told me that it didn't require as much labor as he'd anticipated and that the total turned out less than the quoted amount. On that note, of all the other mysteries that I have yet to figure out, I can now say with all certainty that I HAVE AN ELECTRICIAN! Seriously though, I was just really impressed with these folks. They seem to have a level of honesty and true focus on the customer that will win customers for life!

Clay was amazing. while this was not an emergency, it was extremely time sensitive and Clay was all over it. Excellent work, on time, on budget. Amazing folks and will use them again

I was desperate to find an electrician over the Memorial Day weekend as a tree had ripped the electrical lines from my house during a storm . As a result, I had live wires laying on the ground that were a danger to my pets and myself. Clay Long from Long Electric Company came to my house on a Sunday (of Memorial Day weekend no less), accessed the damage and called the power company to make sure that someone would quickly respond to my need for killing the power to the downed lines. He went out of his way and also cut up the downed tree so that it could be easily removed. Clay Long - what a kind and caring person!!! Who does that these days???? I was also concerned that the power company might not re-establish my power as my meter box was compromised. Clay advised me what to say when the linemen came to re-connect my power. Thanks to him, my power was re-stored with the stipulation that my meter box would be replaced after the Memorial Day weekend. In addition to replacing a compromised meter box, Long Electric also had to lower the box to meet the current electrical codes. Clay and Aaron provided the needed upgrades in a timely and professional manner at a more-than-fair price. If one is looking for a knowledgeable and professional electrician at a fair price, this company is the one to hire, They go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Long Electric Company.

As a retired electric consulting engineer I was impressed by the knowledge of the electrical codes that the electrician had. He did a same day job the day I called, hard to find these days

We hired Long's Electric and they did a great job. They estimated the cost at $1500 but ended up costing us $848. Aaron showed up on time and saved us a lot of money. Excellent customer service and they don't try to "cut your throat." I would definitely recommend Long's Electric to anyone in need of professional help!

Clay Long is NOT licensed in Knoxville, TN. Therefore, he is NOT able to obtain a work permit in the city of Knoxville. (I still don't know if he ever actually was licensed in Knoxville.) I paid him over half the amount of his estimate for way less than half the work BEFORE I fully understood the permitting issue and BEFORE he completely abandoned my small house rewire job. I can't even begin to explain how difficult it is to find an electrician to finish another electrician's less-than-half-complete rewire. As a result, Clay Long delayed my house remodel by about 6 months.

Very polite and relatable. Was very thorough and went above and beyond to get us what we wanted at the price we wanted to pay.

The young man who did the work was great, as was Clay Long - excellent communication, prompt service, very responsive. My only complaint was the lack of floodlight bulbs for the replaced light fixture. Now I have to climb up there and put it in, which I didn't want to do.

I called this company and had no idea anything about them. I talked to Clay on a Monday morning told him the problem and he came out late that afternoon. He stayed until he found the problem and got it fixed. I would highly recommend him and he was a super nice guy. I am having him come out to do more work for me. Nice to find someone realible in this day and age.

Clay called me in the evening just minutes after I submitted my information. He showed up on time the next morning and gave us a quote. His installer was courteous and on time, also. He completed the job in the estimated time frame Clay gave me, and there were no hidden charges. Great experience!
