Kevin is friendly and punctual but does not stay on his words. We agreed for Mesh for all around my concrete. He said Mesh is not required for backyard concrete. Second, he put wood instead of Joint expansions. Since he is a professional, I took his words and got my concrete installed. My concrete started to show cracks within the first year. I contacted him, and Kevin stated let the concrete settle, and ill repair free or refund you partially. I contacted him in Jul, he never picked the phone and left him voicemail and messages. In late July, he picks up the phone and tells me I will come in Sep to repair it. I waited Sep and called that he never came. He gave me a rant that his trucks are busted and bla bla... meanwhile he was working somewhere. Then I called him in October and he stopped responding. Be upfront, don?t lie. I know concrete prone to get cracks, you saving 50 bucks on your mesh caused me major headaches and cracks all over. I would not go with him.

Kevin was an excellent professional in every way. He did my driveway, garage, and sidewalk. We absolutely love it and so does our neighbors. He also charged us a fair price and gave us additional discounts because we recommended him to our neighbors and friends.

My project included having a 10' x 25' slate patio removed and replaced with a concrete slab, repairing numerous mortar joints on the house and chimney, installing a pedestrian door on the garage, and installing a security door on the house. I hired Long Ireland Construction after getting estimates from several contractors. When I explained to Kevin what I wanted done, he came to the house and gave me a very fair estimate; I appreciated that Kevin didn't try to "oversell" me things and upgrades I neither needed nor wanted. The work was done quickly and to my total satisfaction; I plan to use Long Ireland Construction in the future when I'm ready for the next round of projects that are too big to handle myself. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Kevin and Long Ireland Construction.

Kevin the owner of Long Ireland Construction is local to the Mineola/Williston Park area, which was a plus for me since i live in the area as well. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable, does excellent work and for me most importantly is a straight shooter. I have hired Long Ireland to replace sidewalks and perform stucco work at two different properties, both times he performed the work as discussed and within the time frame agreed upon. He takes so much pride in his work that after pouring concrete at one of my properties he came back to check on how the concrete was setting, he found someone wrote in the concrete, so he brushed over it and actually stayed a bit since a nearby school let out to ensure no one else wrote on the sidewalk. That is pride and dedication in your work. I would not hesitate to hire Long Ireland Construction again.

The concrete sidewalk was poured yesterday. It looks great. All lines are straight and clean. All surfaces are uniform in appearance. The onsite project manager was very knowledgeable and straight forward when discussing the job.
