The biggest problem we had with Looney's was communications. The associate who assessed our project did not even have company business cards! That made it very difficult to take the guy seriously. All I had was an estimate for thousands of $$ and I was not sure who I was speaking to! The others problem was their design capability. In my view it is essential for a remodeling project to be based on a mutually reviewed and agreed upon design. Looney's could not produce a professionally designed sketch. Their estimate was clear on charging $4,700 for tilling of the bathroom walls, but would not say if the tilling would be floor to-ceiling or floor to waste? They basically got themselves out of competition.

I hired Looney's Tile and Grout for my bathroom remodel, specifically a shower re-tiling job. The company's owner came out and gave me an estimate in person. The estimate was slightly below other competitive estimates I had received. I chose this company based on my realtor's recommendation as I am placing my home on the market for sale. The admin staff was attentive to my scheduling needs. The job was completed in 3 days. They provided me with exact measurements of what was needed to complete the job, and I purchased the materials myself to save additional money. If I have another job to do like this, loonies tile and grout will be the 1st company I'm calling for an estimate.

Horrible experience with them though their sales guy is nice and patient. I was travelling and couldn't check the work until I got back. The tile work was absolutely terrible. They didn't use spacers, they scratched the brand new tub because they did not protect it, they installed chipped tiles, pencil tiles were not installed in a straight line, floor tiles were sticking out by almost 1/4 of an inch. They came back 3 times to fix but honestly, the job should have been entirely redone to be done right. Save yourself a headache and just find another tiling company.

Its my understanding from the team that we indeed came back out to your home to make your areas of concern right and fixed. There was only 1 tile on the floor to be changed, there were 3x6 tiles installed on the shower walls which have built in spacers so no spacers needed. Many companies in this industry and sector completes a job and will never return regardless of complaints. We are committed to righting the wrong and fixing any issues. Easy to deal with and arrange appointments although there was a miscommunication between office and field on arrival window, for which they were very apologetic. I thought quote was a little high but they did good work so we were satisfied.

The workmen were courteous and the work was done right, they took their shoes off and made sure they cleaned up after themselves. The only problem I had was on the second day they were supposed to show up between 12-2. By 230 I called the office to find out where they were, they said he was would be running late and would be here in 30 minutes. I just wished they would've called and let me know they were going to be late. Other than that everything else was great.

I have been wanting to have my grout and tile replaced and cleaned up for years. A neighbor recommended Looney's and so glad they did. They were quick to come and give me a very fair estimate. The workmen showed up on time, they were neat, polite and explained everything they were doing. I would highly recommend Looney's!

The workmen were clean, polite, and very efficient. They removed their shoes at the entrance and left a very clean work area when they left. They had warned us that there would be a very fine dust film in the immediate area that gets past the plastic curtain they put up to contain the worst of it. No problem. We just put things away or removed them, and then did the normal bathroom cleaning afterward.

Grout: Replace or Repair
There was a small issue with some grout being emptied in the toilet by the workers, when I called the owner about it he immediately came to my house and fixed it, he was literally here within 15 minutes. While here he inspected the work and did some small touch ups. Amazing customer service if you ask me! He's also super nice and professional, I highly recommend this company.

Very professional workmanship and work ethic! Mr. Looney was on the job all day, did most of the work himself and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain what was being done and why and presented options and also recommended solutions that were based on longevity and cost effectiveness. He and his crew showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up the work site before leaving! The job was more involved than anticipated but he brought it in at the estimated price despite the extra time need to complete the work! I would highly recommend him to everyone I know!

Michael Looney was very pleasant when he came to see our master bathroom. We have some tiles that are coming loose around our bathtub faucet and Michael was able to provide us some "next steps" info. Please be aware however that these folks are not plumbers so if you think you have some leaks or pipe damage, Michael suggests calling a plumber first to check that out and then Looney's would come in and work their magic to make the bathroom look like new again. He also explained to us that our standard tiles are not available anymore. He suggested a plumber service too which was great! Overall excellent service and pleasant experience!

Michael was extremely friendly and easy to work with. He showed up on time for both the quote and the actual work and did a great job cleaning up our showers and tubs! He went above and beyond, taking the time to re-caulk our bathroom sinks just to give us that extra level of service. I would definitely recommend Looney's to friends and we'll be using them again to clean up our old house before renting it out.
