Do not hire!! I was contacted almost immediately after completing my request on Home Advisor by Mr. Lope. I explained the issue I was having with my Kenmore ice maker. Mr. Lope suggested that I needed a new ice maker so I scheduled an in-home consultation. He inspected the ice maker and determined that a new one would resolve my issue with cloudy ice. He ordered the replacement ice maker and returned a few days later to install. Just as an added precaution, I asked him to flush the water line. I was told that it may take a couple of cycles to see clear ice. Two weeks later and I still do not have clear ice. I have called Mr. Lope several times, left a voicemail, and reached out through Home Advisor to see what can be done to resolve this issue. He has not responded at all. I do not recommend hiring a Pro that cannot even return a phone call when the fix they suggested did not work. Now I am out of over $200 and I still do not have clear ice.

Mr. Lope arrived on time for our appointment. He was easy to talk to and seemed to be professional and knowledgeable. However, he only listened to what I told him my problem was and did not investigate himself. He used a steamer to thaw out some ice on the lower portion n my refrigerator. He heard the fan working so said it was not the fan. He unplugged the fridge and plugged it back in - as I told him I had done. He heard the fan go and said it seems to be fine now. I paid him and he left - after informing me his fee would still be payment toward any further service repair within the next 30 days for the same problem. My fridge quit working again in the evening. I called him the next morning. He told me it seems I would need a new dispenser control board looked it up for pricing and said it was no longer available. End of call. In the meantime - the coolest my shelves in the fridge would get was 50 degrees, while everything in the crisper drawers froze. I lost a full grocery order due to the lack of proper cooling. I did some research online and learned the original symptom (dispenser quite working) was often caused by a faulty main control board - not sending enough voltage to the fridge fan. I called Mr Lope several times to inform him of what I learned. After 4 days of not having a fridge, I called Sears Parts Direct and got confirmation that the main control board was not working and needed to be replaced. I ordered that part and will repair my fridge myself!!!! I wasted $55 on a useless diagnostic visit. Mr Lopez never opened up any inner workings on my fridge to do any useful diagnosis. My problem just got bigger with lost food after his visit and lack of response to my continued calls. I do not recommend this business for your appliance repair needs.

Jon Lopes showed up precisely at 10-even though the window was 10-12. Was friendly and professional and got right to work. He completed the work in about 40 minutes. I will use him again.

I had a problem with my freezer on my refrigerator. I was going to loose a lot of expensive food. I was able to get quick service. The tech was very professional and the fee was very very reasonable. I will use him from now on .
