The company charged me over $1000 above the estimate for something they should have known about. Then refused to admit it and give me a refund.

I would give them 10 stars if I could, from the minute Iâ ve contacted Los Angeles Movers and all the way to the end these guys rocked it! The crew was super fast and efficient, reliable and very well mannered, letâ s not talk about the professionalism and great attitude, will recommend them to anyone with closed eyes. Terrible, job They will not take care of your things! I wish we would have left everything and used the money we wasted paying these guys to just get new stuff. (As we will have to do anyway to replace damaged items). Nothing good to say about LA Movers except they should be in jail

Los Angeles Movers came highly recommended by several of my neighbors and they truly were fabulous from start to finish! They were on time, courteous, and worked quickly but efficiently and none of my items were damaged in the process! They were also covid compliant wearing masks and shoe protectors. I highly recommend Los Angeles Movers and would definitely use them again in the future!

LA Movers is a Broker. Initially, the communication was fine when booking the move. However, they contracted the move out to XXXX. Those were the most unprofessional I ever dealt with, The movers did not wear uniforms, they scratched my floors, missed 2 delivery dates, broke glasses that were packed, and lost my TV set. Customer service was rude and non-existent. BEWARE OF HIRING LA MOVERS....THEY WILL SUBCONTRACT YOUR MOVE TO TOTALLY INCOMPETENT MOVING COMPANIES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST HIRING LA MOVERS

This company was awful, I am not one to bag on service but this just was not professional. They broke half of our things, they did not call me once, I had to reach out the ENTIRE time. When we were told our expected date to receive things would be one date, they pretty much lied and did not deliver our things until the very last day the contract allowed them. Honestly, this was a shady transaction from the get-go, I was underquoted and had to pay double come moving day and I will never go with them again. I do not recommend movers, in general, I guess this is their move... your stuff goes from place to place and person to person with no care or knowledge of its whereabouts until you randomly get it one day.

Very disappointed with this company. Price estimate by company was way off so make sure you get an estimate for the exact quantity of boxes. Don?t let the person completing the quote estimate anything. I asked if the actual movers were employees and I was told they were. They were not! They were contracted from another source. The movers had an Enterprise truck which leaked hydraulic fluid on the new driveway. I spoke to a manager, Issac, who was very rude and unprofessional. He was not going to address the damage to the driveway until I made it a concern I was told by, Michael, who set up this move, that I would be reimbursed for the driveway damage. I was not! I was then informed my items would be taken to a storage bin, but no one could or would tell me where this was. From there the items would be put in a truck for delivery? This has not been my experience with long distance moving. Make sure you ask the company you are speaking with what their process is. Once my belongings arrived, I had multiple items broke and a lot of the boxes had been mishandled based on the condition they arrive in. I had missing boxes and who knows at what point they went missing. I had labeled every box with a number and location in the house. I had a list to verify at delivery. I recommend you do this so you have an ongoing account of your items. The movers did not have any verification process upon delivery In fact, I was told by the delivery movers that they don?t use the numbered stickers placed on the box. It took multiple emails requesting information on the process of filing for damages before I was forwarded any information. Use great caution with moving companies. Especially Los Angeles Movers!!

Find any other service!!!. Used for a long-distance move. Doubled my quote on move day. Lied every step of the way. Items were warehoused and sent via another moving company- was specifically told this would not happen. All my furniture was broken. 6 boxes were missing. Items were thrown in the truck. Stacked boxes marked glass on the bottom of shoddy stacking job in the truck that was falling over. Cracked wood furniture. Was overcharged for the volume of space used and packing materials. No confirmation of any charges. Sam just picked a number out of the air. Made many attempts to resolve with Mike and Sam. No luck. The company is incorporated in Arizona under Custom Relocation Service, Inc. DO NOT USE them. Do your own research. This is not a fake review but the company may label it as such. Beware of any company with all 5-star reviews- it is impossible to make everyone happy. Only 45 reviews after being in business for so many years should also be a red flag. I learned the hard way.

Would not return a phone call or emails sent. They charged extra for a credit card when the final payment was made it had to be cash, very inconvenient. problems were resolved and payment adjustment was made

If you choose this moving company, know that you will have ZERO PIECE OF MIND. We were misled and lied to every step of the way. As soon as Sam (the owner) got there (a day late) with the movers, he proceeded to charge us DOUBLE what we were quoted, even though in the initial phone conversation with the salesman, Mike, we were assured we had more than enough space and we could bring much more if we needed to. He assured me it was not necessary to have everything itemized as I had more than enough space. We did not t even have enough stuff to fill a studio apartment. We were moving out of state and had a flight scheduled for that night, and they knew this. We had our backs up against the wall and were forced to dish out double than what was originally agreed to. Mind you, Sam, pretends to be an employee with his hands tied, and turns out he is actually the owner of the corporation this moving company is under. Also, I was told our things would be at our destination a week later, and turns out we got it over a month later. During that whole time we NEVER got a straight answer as to where our things were and when we would get them. We felt completely scammed and wondered whether this company was even legitimate and if we would ever actually get our things. Had they been upfront and honest about the pricing and time frame, it would have been a different story, but they lie and take complete advantage of the vulnerability of your situation. If you are looking for a moving company, I urge you to look elsewhere, because they are not the nice family owned business they claim to be when they sell you.

Poor communication on both sides led to cost almost double what I expected, as well as inconvenience. I was too trusting.

The moving company and a site lead that went by Sam showed up on 15 June 2020 at approximately 730 am to inspect what the company was taking for the move and started yelling at my mother saying it was too much stuff and it was going to cost 3x more than the original estimate of $3,520. The new total was going to be $8,500 to move the items in the house. So my mother frantically called me on my cell while I was getting ready for work updating me of the situation. I informed my mother to put the sight lead on the phone and he informed of the situation and I informed him not to take advantage of the elderly and yelled at my mother and then I began to curse him out because he stated that it was 3x more stuff than originally agreed on the original estimate of $3,520. LA Movers also provided documentation to Home Advisor that I never received We found another local company to take the same stuff and it only cost $3264

I used Los Angeles Movers to transport my vehicle from CA to TX. There were some surprises with the subcontractor who actually picked up and delivered the vehicle, but my car made it safely and within the expected time frame. I expected the service to cost more than it did, so overall I was mostly pleased with the experience.

They were on time. No issues. Delivery was in good condition.
