Lost Pond Construction

We purchased a 1923 cottage in Chardon in August of 2023 which we intend to use primarily in the summer. The home needed a total remodel, with an additional bathroom, complete basement remodel, kitchen remodel, heating & AC. Because of the age of the house we wanted someone to come by and let us know what could actually be done. Several contractors were not willing to just come out and talk to us. Jeff at Lost Pond Construction was willing to spend the time to go over our ideas and let us know if they were workable. His friendly manner and helpful suggestions encouraged us to move forward with the project. The next step was for his designer, Lisa to visit the house and come up with a plan. She presented a number of ideas that we reviewed. With Lisa and Jeff's help we chose the plan we desired and picked out the cabinetry, flooring, bath fixtures and colors, We then took a leap of faith, as we were returning to our home in Florida for the winter and would not be in Chardon for the remodeling. Of course we had some jitters, but Jeff and Lisa kept us totally informed as to the progress of the house. Jeff sent us videos and photos throughout the entire process. Construction started in October and was completed in Jan/Feb of 2024. When we returned to Chardon to see the results, we were extremely pleased - no surprises, everything was done to our satisfaction. The few things that needed follow up were quickly corrected. We would absolutely recommend Jeff and Lisa with Lost Pond Construction. They were easy to work with, did what they said they would do, returned phone calls and made the process as seamless as possible. And last but not least, they did a beautiful job!

I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and the crew. After about three estimates from different people I decided to look into a professional company to do a large remodel on my very outdated kitchen. After the very first conversation with Jeff I knew that my husband and I needed to meet with this man. He and his designer Lisa listened to our wants and needs and carefully and very thoughtfully designed three possible kitchens for us to choose from. We were actually able to see 3 finished products that we could choose from which were all completely amazing. Once we made our decision the fun began. The work was all done while we were at work and every night when we came home we could see so much progress every day and every thing was cleaned up and organized so that we could continue to live comfortably while the construction was going on. I can go on forever about so many things but the bottom line is that we ended up with the kitchen of our dreams. So much attention to detail and so many extras that we never dreamed of. Final payment was not made until they knew we were completely satisfied. They even took extra special care of our pets while they were there working. Amazing!!!! We even feel that weâ ve made incredible friendships with the whole crew. Professional, thoughtful, considerate and truly amazing people! We will be forever grateful and plan to use Lost Pond Construction for future projects. No need to ever look further. Thank you Jeff, Lisa, Don, Eric, Kenny and Danny!!! My wife and I are a little late to the remodeling game. We have heard horror stories from friends who had very bad experiences with remodels. Our experience is exactly the opposite. Our project was done on time on budget and attention to detail what is second to none. It seems that all of our friends are done with their home-improvement projects now, but I will definitely steer anybody else that I know towards Lost Pond Construction.

Jeff and Lisa were great to work with. Lisa designed 4 different bathrooms for the space which were all great options. She was very helpful and answered our questions promptly. Ray and his crew, who installed the bathroom, were very efficient and professional. We were very pleased with the result! Thank you Lost Pond Construction!

Jeff and his team really made my first remodeling experience a fantastic one! When Jeff and Lisa showed up at my new place, I did not know what to expect, I got great ideas and suggestions about flooring, paint color and bathroom options. They helped me understand where my money would be the best spent. I had a super tight timeline and Jeff and his team dropped everything to make sure we worked together to make it happen. Jeff was always available for questions and did a very thourough job of explaining a few unexpected problems. His whole team made me feel confident that I had hired the right company for the job!

We could not have been more pleased with the entire project. From the initial design consults to the material and color schemes and the final product was 5-star service. Jeff and his team hit every deadline (even during COVID) and came in on budget! We had Lost Pond do our master bath and a build-out of basement bedroom and bath for our new home in Kirtland. To put it in a simple way = Lost Pond Construction is simply the best around!

Jeff and his crew were not only very professional and on TIME, but the attention to detail that Jeff makes everyone adhere to was really the extra touch for my wife and I. They really did a great job, we are thrilled with the space they created.

The attention to detail from Lost Pond Construction was incredible. They kept me informed of any changes that need to be made and would always wait for my approval. The work was completed on time and on budget. I would highly recommend this company.
