In 2013 Lou constructed a new driveway, walkways and resurfaced our porch which I thought would last a lifetime, a few years later the driveway started deteriorating. This is the current state Every time that it rains, we get puddles in the driveway as shown he installed a drain at the foot of the driveway for the purpose of draining the water whenever it rains into the street, the water ends up sitting in the drain and doesn't drain out I called him about this and he said that he stands by his work and would stop by but never showed up the porch that he resurfaced peeled up Needless to say that we are extremely disappointed with the driveway and the porch

Lou and his helper are very professional very clean very customer oriented no problems excellent work did a beautiful job on my new stairs highly recommend you wouldn't be sorry

Lou Fierro put stone on the front of our house. He does excellent work, his prices are reasonable, he is professional and responds quickly to phone calls. He gave advice as to the best stone to use and the best way for us to prepare for the work to be done. We could not be happier with the new look of our house and we have already received a number of complements on the stonework. I received 4 quotes for the replacement of the limestone on my front steps. Lou's price was the best and he included additional repair work on the steps. His craftsmanship is excellent and his work ethic is admirable. He really cares about his customers. I referred 2 friends who needed mason work. I highly recommend him.

HORRIBLE MASONRY - Please, just know this guy ruined my new foundation that I hired him to build a new one, as my house was being elevated. He started from scratch have you and there he went, building it haphazardly, hed not even bother to check if his blocks were actually level/square/plumb!?! So MANY of them were not done right, he just kept going along each course that way, so, the rest is history!! I even know foundation building IS at the very basics of masonry and he screws my foundation badly, many comments by others in the trades I had here, all agreed HELLO? BEWARE: - this guy did not care to check his blocks to be LEVEL SQUARE PLUMB, as a result, he ruined my house and then it was too late and he left me the worst, dozens of lopsided and badly leaning out the wall, as in blocks popped out not flush to each other, some spots are a pure horror. Clearly no care for details and the quality shows it evidenced. My foundation walls are so **OUT** its seen by the naked eye. Its hurts me to see it. Today, in 2021, Im still dealing with how bad his work is and how its implications today and trying to install and attach things to my foundation, decks and windows and doors not square or level, blocks bumped out, some stuff so bad in spots its a hard thing now to work with and around it. At one side of the foundation wall my contractor found the wall out at the top by 1.5 inches compared to the very bottom, one of many other issues he left me with, by doing very bad quality block work. My advice= STAY AWAY, his incompetence has ruined so much for me here and he was told all about it and he knows it well too. Hey Lou, for how many issues its causing me still now, i.e. you recall, doorways not square, window openings too small, garage door openings unsure, I had to pay to have it fixed by fudging it by covering trims on the exterior there just to cover it up the bad block work! HE IS THE WORST MASON on my project he was most horrible and I have the foundation here to prove and justify and substantiate every word I wrote. Therefore, I cannot recommend you should risk using him no matter what his estimate is. I paid him around 18k or so, as well, he should be paying me back at least half of that and lots of that is to repair his shoddy work.

I hired Lou to repair my front porch and stairs. He stuck to his estimate even after running into an unexpected problem that required more time and material. Lou and his helper Brian arrived on time and the finished product exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Louis A. Fierro for any masonry project you have.

This was a cultured stone install (4 pallets worth, 9 days) on the foundation of a house. The job was estimated accurately, started when he said they would, worked on steadily, and finished on time and on budget. Louis and his assistant Brian are friendly and very hard working. They also did a good job cleaning up, which matters. The reason to hire Louis is for the level of artistry he brings to a project: they custom cut nearly every stone, which makes it look much less like a veneer, and more like an original stone foundation. The limestone ledges he does above (to keep water out), the "cut ins" around windows â all of it adds up to give a super-classy, custom feel. We're getting loads of complements from our neighbors. People I don't know slow down their SUVs and shout out, "You're house looks great!"

Original work was adequate however, since installation the pavers did not settle right leaving a safety matter as well as pavers that are chipped and uneven. Upon contacting Mr. Fierro he was defensive and indicated it would be a while before he could look at it. When he was informed of our complaint he wrote back *I thought you were better than that*. In fact, he did not think it was important enough to inspect his own work and sent his young helper. Since the pavers are uneven they are a tripping hazard, we do not want any visitors injured from potentially tripping on the walkway.

We hired Louis Fierro after a number of other masons came to view our job. We were reluctant at first to use the contractor with the lowest price. After much thought, we chose him to replace a severely cracked driveway floor. He finished the job in three days, was always on time, and delivered a product we could be proud of. He even did a few extras without complaint. I recommend Louis enthusiastically.

Less than two years later wall repair work Lou did is literally falling apart. New the work was cosmetically sloppy, but finding out now structurally unsound as well.

Hired for small job to repair step on terrace. He did a fine job and went above and beyond, repairing other areas on the steps as well. Lewis was easy to contact, responded immediately and completed the job quickly. We found him to be trustworthy with fair pricing. We would hire him again.
