Snow Removal
We hired him for snow removal he showed up to my home twice and that was it through many phone calls and trying to reach out by texts none of our attempts were answered he did tell us on his initial visit that he will come out with 3 inches of snow or more all of which was a lie, I explained to him that my husband uses a wheelchair and Walker to get around and we needed to make sure our driveway was clear in the event he needed to get out in an emergency or for an appointment but I guess being disabled and elderly doesn?t matter to him, he said that wasn?t a problem but obviously it was. I would not recommend Lou?s landscaping services. He needs to do the honest and trustworthy thing and return everyone money that he ripped off. We all work hard for a living and deserve better when we have to hire someone else for help.

I just like many others we were scammed! Paid $750 for my neighbor and myself. Shoveled once and plowed once then was a no show. Several text either unanswered or answered days later. Will he filing in small claims court. Angie?s list should never have allowed this!

Snow Removal
They have had to come three times and two out of the three times I ve had to hire additional Snow removal services to clean up the poor job clear in front of The garage and in front of all the entrances and steps.

Not dependable. Plowed once when I first hired them. Said they would come back in the morning as it was still snowing but never showed. Haven?t shown up yet to plow after the snowstorm yesterday. Will not answer my texts. I think I?ve been scammed.

Was hired for snow removal for handicapped ramp/sidewalk and driveway. Paid $370. for season. Took check, cashed it the same day and never returned. Cannot reach company in any way. Reported to police as well. Service was never performed.

I pretty much told it above. After I complained about the 1st plow (I finished it by shoveling)Lou said he d follow up with a snowblower next time. He never returned after the 2nd plow on Dec. 11th.I should add he never showed up on Dec. 10th (6 snow). I had to shovel it myself.

Was supposed to come Thursday, 12/4/25 but not show. When they previously came he did a lousy job. Did not put the snow when they were previously told to put it and you can never reach them on the phone. Got someone else. Would never recommend this business.

"Our snow removal service is performed only when snowfall is forecasted at 3 inches or more, as clearly stated in the signed contract. On the date referenced, the snowfall did not meet that threshold, so service was not triggered. We encourage all customers to review their contract terms for clarity."

Excavation - Major Grading or Resloping
We had a lawn that was too uneven and bumpy for regular mowing. Lou Landscaping brought in their MT100, scraped and regraded the entire area, and turned it back into a smooth, healthy lawn. Great communication, professional crew, and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend them for anyone needing land leveling or lawn restoration done right.

Building Site - Preparation and Clearing
The workers were unprofessional and kept arguing in front of us, they dug the space deeper than what was intended. Also, I felt misled by them with our concerns I had over tree roots with as deep as they had dug. I had to have an arborist out the next day and we ultimately lost the tree. Lastly, I was misquoted by $500 by them.

"We?re sorry you feel this way. Once onsite we found large, unforeseen tree roots under the area requested. To make it level, we removed only what was needed and explained the situation. The depth was based on your direction. A later contractor recommending deeper confirmed the original plan wouldn?t work. Our crew did not argue ? we worked together as a team. The price change reflected the extra labor. We?re still happy to resolve this professionally."

They were paid to reseal the driveway.They did a horrible incomplete job.They got tar on my brand new stairs and did not do anything to fix it.They got tar on my landscaping brick and told me just turn the bricks over.The sidewalk way is 2 different colors.The bottom of the driveway is not a smooth service has lumps in it.When I hired them I told them what I needed done with the bottom of the driveway and they said they could be they did not do the job that I asked for.I have spoken to Rashad numerous times.He keeps lying and saying he will be there to look and fix the issue but never calls or shows up.This is an extremely unprofessional business and I highly advise to not hire them.

One person at the home was continuously talking with the crew throughout the job, which slowed down progress and made it difficult to stay focused on the work. We also offered to return and address concerns, but scheduling communication became difficult. We?re still willing to discuss a fair resolution."

Shaped and lopped branches from bushes and one large maple all in dire need of their expertise. Very pleased with the final result. What a beautiful difference! Appreciated how they checked with me several times during the project to make sure all was to my satisfaction. Great cleanup after the job was completed too, and the price was right!!! All good!
