Michael Pierce was phenomenal! Always very communicative, courteous and respectful of time. He also showed great knowledge in putting in both our new irrigation system (front and back yard) as well as our new lighting system - also front and back yard. I was also impressed with his knowledge and suggestions for placement of irrigation and lighting. It wasn't always about making a quick buck - he cared about our project and was with us the entire way - making this a great experience. Thank you Michael!

Michael Pierce and his team were absolutely phenomenal! They showed the utmost professionalism for the entire duration of the irrigation installation all while in this extreme heat. I canâ t say enough great things about the whole experience. His prices canâ t be matched anywhere else. Everyone is blown away by how fast and good our yard looks. On top of the small amount it cost! I would recommend Lowcountry Landscaping over and over again!! They spent extra time ensuring everyday they cleaned up after themselves and brushed all of our sidewalks and driveways clean. Spent extra time educating my husband and I on the sprinkler system. And ensured our utmost happiness was by far met. Heâ s not out to get your money either because we were considering re-sodding our entire yard and he deterred us from doing it because our lawn is already is good condition. Go hire them ASAP!! They are amazing. And ALL family owned. Michael is a retired firefighter and also gives military and first responders discounts!

I had a slightly unusual request. I needed someone to mow my son's lawn. I wouldn't be there so I needed someone reliable and honest. The owner consistently answered questions and responded to me in a short time. I love the fact this is a local business. He strives to put customer first. I am very glad we chose this business for lawn care needs. They did an excellent job on the lawn. He also let me know when the job was completed. I highly recommend this service.

Had them install a french drain at the rear of my property so my back yard would t flood. The crew that came out where very punctual and did a fantastic job. Will definetly be hiring them again for a sod project.

Quality work at a reasonable price. You truly get what you pay for when working with Mike and his crew. I had my back flow preventer and three sprinkler heads and connecting water line after they were damaged by a utility crew. Quick response to any questions I had about the repair and he fixed the issues without delay. Sprinkler works flawlessly and I hired him to replace my flower bed. Give him a call I promise you won't be sorry!

Owner was extremely professional in all aspects of the job. He was very upfront about what we could expect and what he felt he could accomplish. He kept us in the loop throughout the entire process and explained every step in detail until we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this company for any landscaping needs. Totally professional from having power company mark where underground lines were before putting a shovel in the ground, to cleaning up after finishing. The work was done efficiently and exactly to what was proposed. The cost was fair and more than worth it when you realize how many contractors quote cheap and DO cheap! I would highly recommend Low Country Landscaping and Design, especially the owner Mike Pierce, who oversaw all aspects of the work to make sure it was done to HIS high standards!! Well done!

Low Country did a wonderful job landscaping the front entrance of our building! Michael was very thorough, professional and really listened to what we wanted it to look like. He has also taken care of the lawn care at our facility for 2 years and always keeps the grassy areas looking very neat and well kept!

I contracted Low Country Landscape and Design LLC after receiving 4 other quotes from other companies. I started asking for quotes at the end of May 2019. After meeting with Mr. Pierce, I decided to go with his company over my other options that were considerably cheaper. I chose his company based on speaking with him and because of what was in his company mission statement, honesty and integrity. In the last line of his company statement it says, We look forward to building lasting relationships with our clients and guarantee your satisfaction. Please keep that in mind during the course of reading the review. The agreed-upon deposit was for ½ of the final price and was paid on June 7th, I was scheduled for the work to be completed on June 26th/27th, 2019. I received an email for the work to be pushed back until July 1st/2nd, 2019 due to the heavy amounts of rain. I had been texting back and forth with Mr. Pierce trying to figure out when the work would be started and he informed me that one of his machines had gone down and needed repair. I then received another email stating that the work would start on July 7th, 2019 and that install did not happen either. Finally, on July 9th, install was scheduled along with another person in the neighborhood and was told It should take no more than 2 days to complete. The install did not actually start until July 11th, 2 weeks after originally being told it would be started. Keep in mind, I have already paid a deposit for the materials. Friday, July 12th comes along and the installs happening, and he tells me they ran into a snag where the backflow goes in and he says there is a gas line in the way. yes, it is the same gas line we reviewed when you came over and surveyed my yard to give me a quote. This delayed my completion by another day. So they were supposed to finish up that Saturday morning and I received a text from Mr. Pierce stating that he had a medical emergency and would not be by to complete the work as promised and I told him I understood and to take care of himself. He resumed the work on the 15th and finished the wiring and dressing the trenches and would send out the other guys later in the week to roll out any lumps and fill in any low spots. He set up a day to come by and go through the system and ensure that I knew how to operate it. He came by 2 days later to show me how to operate the system and he pointed out a hose that was kinked in the flowerbed. He told me that his guys would be out to roll out the trenches in the next few days and after doing so it looked like nothing was done. I texted him photos of the work and he said he was embarrassed about the lack of effort they put in to complete the work. He said, half-assed the work and he would take care of it. I continually had conversations with him over the next few days about getting them out there to finish the work and that I was finding drip line emitters around the flowerbeds. He said on August 6th, 2019 that he would send someone out to take care of it and fix the kinked line that he pointed out to me in the front yard. I followed up several more times trying to get any type of customer service from him in regards to making sure his work was completed to the satisfactory level that he said I would receive. I texted more pictures on August 21st and no response. I now believe that I have a leak in my system that has caused my bill to jump from $65/month to over $200 for the past 2 months. He will not respond to any emails or texts to even complete the originally contracted and paid for work. I would not recommend this individual or his company based on his business practices and failure to complete the job satisfactorily. I still have areas in my yard that were dug up unnecessarily and were not re-dressed. I have since went out and purchased sod to fix those areas. Please beware if you contract this.

This review is pursuant to requirements of Home Advisor (HA); mandated to resolve a dispute with Low Country Landscaping and Design, LLC (LCLD) as per HA Customer Solutions Representative. Without a review, HA will not puruse. I would not recommend LCLD at all. LCLDâ s contract was extremely one sided (no warranty, etc.) so I made about 15 changes which were mostly accepted & initialed. LCLD received a deposit after contracting to start sod/irrigation work about a month later. LCLD stated the deposit was to promptly use after receipt of check to pre-order materials to prep for work starting in a month. Just prior to the contractual start date, I called the local supply houses and none had any material orders from LCLD. This is first time the agreed upon terms werenâ t met since the deposit was not used as committed. The week before the contractual start date, I had not heard from Owner of LCLD, Mr. Michael A. Pierce Sr. since he received the check the month prior. After several unanswered phone calls & texts over days, he emailed me stating that due to personal issues, he would not be able meet the start date. In my opinion, this was an anticipatory breach of contract by making that statement. The contract is between me and LCLD and not with Mr. Pierce so any personal matters are not a warranted delay to the contract and I never agreed to pushing/amending the scheduled start. Had Mr. Pierce answered any of my many phone calls trying to reach him to peacefully discuss and work out an amicable solution and potential new start date to accommodate his personal matters, I would have likely worked with him. Through email, I scheduled a phone call with Mr. Pierce and he refused to talk on the phone and said he will only communicate by email. Instead of phone calls where we could have potentially amicably resolved the issue, I received threatening confrontational emails instead. LCLD never would provide a new start date so after several days of continued unanswered phone calls and unanswered texts to Mr. Pierce, I made LCLD a proposal request in an email that since LCLD has stated they canâ t meet the start date per the terms of the contract, to please cancel the contract if he would return the deposit. The proposal request was an honest offer by me to help Mr. Pierce attend to his personal matters. The offer to cancel was tied to return of the deposit promptly. He could go on with life and handle personal matters and I could hired a separate contractor to perform the work. He declined this proposal as there was no such written amendment. He also never performed any work, never purchased any materials, and most importantly, never returned the deposit. The contract that LCLD authored clearly states that any and all changes (i.e.. schedule, amount, scope, cancellation, etc.) to the contract must be MUTUALLY AGREED BY BOTH PARTIES AND SIGNED in order to amend the contract. I canâ t cancel the contract without both parties signing an addendum with terms agreed to by both parties and LCLD canâ t cancel the contract without both parties signing an addendum stating the new terms. Therefore, the terms of the contract have never been changed. LCLD breached the contract and refused to perform the work or refund our deposit for the materials that were never ordered. The contractual completion date was 8/31/2019 so LCLD defaulted on the contract completion date a few weeks ago and still has not returned our deposit and stated he does not intend to. Mr. Pierce was consistently contentious with me over emails. I always remained professional. Mr. Pierce refused to talk on the phone and mentioned an attorney and said that he would sue me in an intimidation tactic to try to not perform any of the work and keep the deposit. Based on the above, it is clear that LCLD committed several breaches to the contract. I belie...
