VERY UNHAPPY,I would NOT recommend Cawood Construction! The Owner only around when there was money needed for the job. His original team of four guys did good work even with him not on site. However his team was quickly replaced by sub contractors that were not up to par. Most did not speak English. This made it very hard to get the work done with out a translator on site to explain what I needed done. They also worked late into the evening when I was home alone and it made me very uncomfortable. At the same time as the contracted work was being done, I asked for some side jobs to be done. The owner seemed to want to do those more than the original contracted work. As that would equal more money for the project, Now, NEITHER is complete and he is paid in full for the remodel of our garage. I have had to hire other companies now to complete both the original contracted work and the side jobs. My attic was floored and empty for easy use for storage, and would have easily been change to a storage/small play area. now it is completely unusable!! We needed one wire to be run to a switch. The entire attic floor was ripped up and not able to be put back in an original state. Painting was a night mare on both contracted and side jobs. The wall were not primed sheet rock led to my paint pulling up sheet rock paper and now peeling off the walls - NEEDS to be RE-DONE that sucks!! window not calked or painted after relocating. RAM board and tape was left on my wood laminate floors for 2 months and was nearly impossible to remove and quite the job for me to remove in our very long hallway. Side jobs ALL started NOT one completed so all the new hires are playing catch-up and recon... The only one thing to come out of this job was an awesome concrete company referral!! I would highly recommend TM STONE WORK, LLC they were on time, easy to work with and the owner MELVIN was on site once a day to check on the job, confer with me; and to make sure I was happy with how things were, They did a fabulous job on my walk and driveway! Mike Cawood should learn a thing or two from Melvin, but thank you for the referral or your ANGI rating would have been worse

The Cawood crew brought our tiny outdated pink tile bathroom into this century. Somehow it feels bigger although we didn't have them expand it. Not only that but they had it done in a little over a week knowing it was our only bathroom. We're hiring them for the kitchen next!

Cawood Construction built me a beautiful screened porch exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend them for any construction need.
