From the initial contact with the company per your recommendation to completion, everything went smoothly. The technician was very polite and efficient and the final cost excellent, especially when compared to an identical service call a few months earlier through another company which cost me exactly twice the price and performed by a very indifferent technician.

Put in a request Monday night after finding I had a leak into my basement from a sink drain line. Bathroom unusable. HA matched me to Lowe's. I called Lowe's Tuesday morning. They told me that they would come out and take a look between noon and 5pm. I was warned that there was an $85 service call fee. Plumber gave an estimate. He told me if I accepted, they would schedule me. Turns out the service call fee was an estimate fee and they could do the work the following Monday - the "service call fee" was an estimate fee. Called another plumber, work done same day for under 75% of Lowe's quote.

Lowes plumbing did an outstanding job. My only complaint is why it costs so much to put a backup battery on ones sump pump, however Lowes Plumbing was the lowest

I really did not want to give a rating at all. Bad customer service only concern was getting paid by the insurrance company. Lowes needs to be aware of how representing contractors, such as this Plumbing Company, is destroying their business rating.

"We are in no way affiliated with Lowe's Home Store. Our only concern is our customers. If you encountered someone at our company whom you were dissatisfied with please let us know. If this is who I am thinking. We do not do free work, which is what you were wanting. You hired a home warranty company and an insurance company and Service Magic and argued with us about it. We bent over backwards to try and accommodate your needs. We cannot do a job extensive as yours and then HOPE we get paid for it. That is not how business is run. Lowe's Home Store would not have remodeled your bathroom for free either."

Lowe's Plumbing got the job done. The plumber came, looked at the problem, and went to work right away. He fixed the problem and explained clearly what it was so it doesn't happen again in the future. Very friendly to work with.

Well Pump Repair or Service
The estimator figured the job would take 2 men 3-4 hours and provided an estimate of $750. One man showed up and finished the job in 2.5 hours. So I paid $300 an hour for a man to dig a 3 foot hole and repair a leaking pipe. I would call that excessive.

They were prompt, professional, and did the job as expected. I felt they were perhaps 10% more expensive than couple of other estimates I got. However, I went with them since they appeared not to be a one-man band. Overall, completely satisfied with the job they did.

Lowes did excellent work modifying my gas piping to my range. Installer gave me a few options to choose from and completed the work in a short period of time. My only negative mark on the value was they charged $200 for a gas permit that costs $70.
