We had an extremely negative and costly experience with LTTK. We hired LTTK (Lukasz/team) to complete a custom home renovation in our beloved historic home. We entered the contracted 11 months ago (11/2024). To date, LTTK has taken $123,000 of our hard earned money, is 7 months behind timeline provided in our contract, not even close to 50% done with scope, damaged our home without repair, taken full payments for services/goods not rendered, failed village inspections (11 failures in total), left garbage piles across our property for months (despite taking full payment for dumpster services), crews rarely showed up for work (not had a full crew in months), our home has been rendered unsafe/uninhabitable. We incurred significant loss/damages due to LTTKâ  s severe breach(es) of contract, lack of GC oversight, and poor work quality. Below are few highlighted issues, of many: 1) LTTKâ  s plumber failed every village plumbing inspection (7 failures). We had water pouring from our ceiling/walls due to pipes not being soldered correctly. Eventually a new plumber was brought in to correct the poor plumbing work, but only after Lukasz (GC) forced us to endure 5 months of plumbing failures, lied to us repeatedly about obvious failures & forced us to navigate dangerous/massive holes across our first floor. 2) LTTKâ  s plumber & GC (Lukasz), failed to show for multiple village Inspections. Inspection #1: Lukasz (GC) sent a man we had never met, who never did work in our home, to fraudulently pose as the plumber on our project. Lukasz (GC) informed us that this unknown man was posing as our plumber because our actual plumber was â  sharing his licenseâ  . 3) Village inspector informed us that LTTK attempted to deceptively scrape off brand names of copper pipes in an attempt to fool the inspector into thinking the pipes were the pipes required by code. These deceptive practices, poor work, and multi-failed inspections cost us significant time and money. We have paid LTTK 80% of the plumbing contract. LTTK has walked away with our money while only 50% of the scope of work is complete. 4) Masonry work is poor quality & incomplete. LTTK was paid $30,000 of the $43,000 masonry contract. We supplied all finished materials. Only 2 of 9 items in scope are complete. Mason rarely showed up for work (approx.15 days of work in 5 months). Mortar is breaking/chipping/separating across the flooring. Floor is incomplete (wrong mortar color, partially layed, no tuckpointing). Flooring is coming up under our feet. Floor is severely sloped/unlevel. Contract stipulated floor leveling, predesign layout, subfloor cleaning/repairâ ¦0 of those items were done. Our floor is so unlevel, 3 of 4 of the exterior doors cannot be opened (including our front door). Contractors walked through since have said the work is â  sloppyâ  , mortar not mixed correctly, floor never leveled, and all flooring will continue to loosen and pop up. The outcome: we have to pay to have the floor completely redone. LTTK damaged hundreds of bricks/veneers. LTTK abandoned the masonry after demanding 70% of the masonry contract payment prior to work being finished or work quality and leveling issues being solved. 5) LTTK paid in full for new stairs 6 months ago. We have no stairs. LTTK removed old stairs & never delivered new stairs Based on our experience, we would caution anyone from using LTTK. In sum, LTTK severely breached our contract and walked away with $123,000 of our hard earned money without rendering services and goods paid for nor services and goods contracted for, produced poor quality work, and missed every single critical deadline by 7+ months. LTTK hollowed out and damaged our home over the course of 11 months without completing a single item in scope
