I can't add anything to the great reviews Luis Mejia has had. We just had 2 ceilings replastered, 2 walls drywalled and plastered, and a couple of repairs in other rooms. Quick, CLEAN, and a courteous team -- Luis genuinely cares about the customer, not just the job. Possibly our best contractor experience in 50 years in this old house!

Luis was excellent to work with, prompt, courteous, professional and did an outstanding job. We had a plumbing repair that required an old plaster ceiling to be opened. Luis came and made the opening and then returned after the plumbing repair to fix the ceiling. We were under a time deadline due to a house closing date and Luis responded immediately and did an excellent job, can't even tell that there were any repairs ever made to the ceiling it is so seamless. Highly recommend.

Communication with Luis was excellent. He showed up on time both for the estimate and to get the job started. He is doing both plastering and painting of water damaged ceilings. He is committed to quality work and is dependable. Highly recommend him.

Luis and crew did an amazing job fixing a half done plaster job that was attempted by myself an inexperience homeowner. He and his crew had cleanliness as a high priority. He was also able to patch in an already existing textured ceiling design. he did a great job and I will use him for any other plaster work in my home(before I try to do it myself ).

Luis and his team are quality-focused. Luis is responsive and really cares about customer satisfaction! I hired him to fill-in a gap caused by removal of a wall, to patch holes made to rewire ceiling lights and to fix a previous repair done by someone else. He noticed that one area seemed to be drying too quickly (probably caused by old gypsum wallboard) and suspected it might crack. It did crack a little but he promised to return the next morning to fix it. He did and blended the new and existing plaster perfectly. I highly recommend Luis.

Luis is such a kind hard working man. He did his job with knowledge and kept us informed as to what he was doing and the problems he encountered. Our living room walls needed a lot of work since we tore down 41 yr old wallpaper and remaining glue stayed. Luis did a wonderful job, courteous always and cleaned up after the job was finished.

I am indeed the customer from hell - a nitpicking perfectionist and overbearing micromanager. Smoke was coming out of my ears. My beloved skylight project had already been ruined by an incompetent plasterer when Luis was naïve enough to wade into the ruins gently suggesting that he could fix it...that he could make me happy. Ha! Show me! For 30 hours I seethed behind him and his crew breathing fire, while constantly reaching over their shoulders with three levels and a square. And lo and behold, know what? Luis actually made me happy. A rating of 5 is too low for this master plasterer and master human being. I am forever humbled. You cannot do better than Luis. Never.

I needed a new ceiling in my living room and 3 other rooms that needed repair work to correct another company's poor work. Luis brought in a crew of men and had everything done in 1 day. The repair work was amazing. It blended in with the rest of the wall beyond what I thought was possible. The new ceiling is excellent. My house was left cleaner than when they came. I would highly recommend this company and am glad I found them on home advisor.

Luis is fantastic. He was on time, down to the minute, both for the estimate and the work itself. His crew was great, they did an amazing job and clearly work like a well-oiled machine - I was amazed at how quickly they were done. They proceeded to clean up after themselves and left my kitchen floor probably cleaner than it was before they showed up! The work itself looks great - They installed blueboard and plastered 2 ceilings and a wall for me. A little pricier than I expected, but worth it. Total pleasure to work with - don't hesitate to hire him!
