This is the third home. I have used Lumberjack Tree Service for. They are extremely responsive to messages and calls. I was able to receive next day service for a very large tree that was blown over by the storms and in danger of ruining my iron fence. Derek is fantastic and I highly recommend his company! -Candice

I called Lumberjack Tree Service to get a 2nd opinion about my trees. Our new grass was dying due to overgrowth of our trees . The sunlight could not get through to the grass. The first Company said they didnâ t care about my grass, and wanted to do expensive fertilizing injections to save my trees, that had been pruned incorrectly. My objective was to save both my grass and my trees. Lumberjack Tree Service was amazing! Derek explained exactly what needed to happen, and what they could do. He was incredible! They trimmed my trees perfectly, and now my grass is getting the sun it needed! I am so thankful to them . The crew was extremely professional. They cleaned up the mess, and left everything looking great! I am now a forever customer! I highly recommend Lumberjack Tree Service.

Lumberjack Tree Service recently did outstanding work at our home. They did an extremely professional job of trimming several trees that were overgrown â and even took the initiative to trim back a few bushes, which we had not even discussed. When finished, the crew cleaned up the area nicely. Would highly recommend!

We had a few mature oaks sustain some broken limbs from the weight of the ice during the big freeze. Derek was prompt to our request for an estimate and gave us a good quote. They trimmed up the trees, sealed any/all wounds against future disease and cleaned up my yard like they were never there. I would recommend them for your tree service needs.

I hired Lumberjack to trim our big oak tree and they did not disappoint!! They did a great job, tree looks 100% better, Derek was so nice and knows trees and listened to our concerns. The crew took their time and I couldn't be happier with their work, also they cleaned everything up when they finished. Price was very reasonable.

Derek and his crew did an excellent job of getting my 50' live oak trimmed up. It took a real beating in the snow/ice storm of February 2021. Many dead limbs needed to be removed and the whole tree needed to be reshaped. Derek was also able to inject some nutrients directly into the tree to give it a head start on recovery in the spring. Great job!

We couldn't be more pleased with Derek and his team at Lumberjack Tree Service. After my initial call for a quote he arrived on time as promised, was very professional, and the team did an amazing job. The work was done quickly and everything was cleaned up, hauled off and it truly saved my back from more aggravation. A large dead windmill palm next to the pool is not an easy task to remove. One of my biggest issues is usually communications with any contractor, not with Derek. He was prompt to return my call, gave me a call to let me know they were headed my way and then they were on time to the service appointment. They followed up to make sure everything was done as promised. His workers got my attention before they left and asked me if everything looked OK and if they needed to do anything else before they left. Who would have ever thought that being polite, professional, on time and personal would be a great business model!! Thank you Derek for your help and I truly enjoyed the fellowship as well. Derek and his team did a wonderful job trimming a large pecan tree and removing some other trees in my backyard. I will definitely be using them again as they were professional, courteous, and did an amazing job!

Derek and his crew do great work – highly recommend! Lumberjack has completed several jobs for us over the years (from pruning to tree removal/stump grinding) and we have been consistently pleased with the results. Estimates are accurate, employees are courteous and professional, and the quality of the work and clean-up are excellent. Our most recent job involved pruning several large shrubs surrounding our pool: the crew arrived on time, completed the job within an hour, and even skimmed the pool for the small debris that had escaped their drop cloths. AND the job was finished within 24 hours of my initial call for an estimate. Great service!

$375 for 20 minutes of work to remove a fallen tree branch from my alley was outrageous. They would not provide an estimate until they arrived, which was three hours later than promised. Once they were there and unloaded their equipment I felt compelled to hire them. They took advantage of the situation of the tree blocking the alley. I saved $50 by paying in cash (he would not give the discount for a check). So I suspect a tax-avoiding tactic. Overall, I am disappointed in the integrity of this company.

We hired Derek to plant, trim and remove shrubbery. Lumberjack Tree Service also planted a beautiful Magnolia. Derek is an arborist and his knowledge was most appreciated when it came to what to trim and what to remove. His crew was very good, friendly and did a good job cleaning up after their work. I would highly recommend Derek - you won't be disappointed.

04/19/2021 Derek and his crew did a fantastic job pruning a very large pecan tree near our house and a medium sized pistachio tree in our back yard. They also removed a large bush near the front door of our house and ground down the stump so we can replace the bush with a smaller one. Thanks, Lumberjack Tree Service! I was especially pleased with the way the crew cleaned up all of the debris before they hauled it away!

They were absolutely amazing! The guys came and made quick work of what I thought would take all day. They cleaned up and were gone. I almost wish I had more trees to remove!

The recent Texas winter blast killed several of our scrubs in the front yard and we thought that we had lost our live oak also. So we started our search for an arborist / tree removal service and found Derek with Lumberjack Tree Service. After a brief conversation by phone, I liked what Derek had to say and set up a visit. He was on time, professional, and did what he said he would do at a reasonable price. The next time we need any tree help, I won't have to do any research. I know exactly who to call now.

I had them remove several stumps and trim back 2 of our trees in the front yard. They did excellent work and cleaned up so you could not tell they had been there.

Work performed Mar 30, 2021. They removed a dead palm tree and other dead bushes/shrubs due to winter storm. Hauled away the debris. Ground the palm stump. Pleased with Lumberjack. I have used them in the past multiple times.

We have used Lumberjack for years and will continue to do so. Their work has always through with the health of the tree in mind. Over the years we have used them for regular maintenance on our huge live oak and red oak. We also need them to remove 2, 40' - 50' live oaks on our property. This was handled with the utmost safety in mind for our property as well as the neighbor within trees striking distance. I HAVE NO hesitation about any of their crew members. The crews have always been courteous, answered any questions and did a great job of cleaning up debris. We will continue to use them for all our arborol needs.
