From our beginnings in 2004 out of a garage in Grand Blanc Lush Lawn has grown to over 85 employees working out of 5 locations servicing southeast Michigan from Monroe to Midland and Mt. Clemens to Lansing. We work to create a beautiful life experience in the yards of our customers. We provide the best fertilization, weed control and lawn care services available. At Lush Lawn, your lawn maintenance is our only and top priority We are locally owned and operated and as a Michigan Small Business, we are the answer to corporate lawn care companies, we are local to you – we live, work, and shop in the same places as you. We use the finest products and procedures designed specifically for the Michigan climate and will remove and keep your lawn weed-free. All our service technicians and arborists are certified and licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture. Services paid for but never complete Services done at odd times of year just to bill it out - example 2 mosquito sprays while we had snow still or we have plenty of freeze warnings

Looking at your account we've been there three times so far this year. One visit we did a soil test and a pre-emergent/fertilizer treatment. We were out once for a mosquito treatment (and yes, it did snow after the treatment, but that's May weather in Michigan I guess), and about two weeks ago we were out for weed treatment and lawn fertilizer. You do have the extender program - our most comprehensive lawn care package and our services are guaranteed - please give us a call if you have any problems. We want you to be happy with your services!f"

They need to communicate better and they need to individualize their service. They want money ahead of time and give you a discount and then you immediately become a lower priority. I'm neutral on whether i would recommend them.

Excellent quality of work and level of expertise for service. Communication process could use some improvement... on a system (email) level. Individuals were consistently competent, capable and courteous. High value for basic services. Ancillary service quotes were pricey.

Lawn Care Aeration
Did not call ahead, as requested, so i wasnt home when done. Did not use slit seeder and dethatch as promised. Seed mud all over sidewalk. Very disappointed.

The aeration was done properly, but the overseeding was terrible. They failed to seed large portions of my yard. Also I have yet to hear back from their customer service after multiple phone calls. I absolutely do not recommend Lush Lawn.

After having used several other lawn care companies without success, I decided to use Lush Lawn. The front lawn where there were bare spots and other companies were fertilizing dirt, I now have grass growing! There are still a couple of areas that are needy but there is much improvement. My neighbors and relatives have all commented how better, fuller and greener my yard looks. I have also had ornamental trees and bushes treated and so far it looks as though the treatments have worked. Any questions I have had concerning my lawn &/or landscape and treatment has been answered. Everyone is courteous & professional.

The lawn fertilizing program did not meet my expectations. On 2 occasions the technician missed treating a section of my lawn. If I would have not been home, the area would never had been treated. I had several bare spots on the lawn and the technician told me I had grubs. I told him that I had signed up for the grub prevention application but he said that it would not help since I already had grubs. I treated the areas with grub killer myself. About a week later I got a call from someone in the office and he told me I had a fungus in the lawn which could be taken care of by another application costing $80.00. I felt I had no choice but to pay for the application. I still have the bare spots and no grass a grown in. Finally I continue to get weeds in the lawn. I told technician about it the last time he came to spray but I don't believe he applied any weed killer. I bought my own bottle of weed killer and spray as needed.

Staff is great, services are great. 1st lawn care company that I will bring back for a 2nd year. Had lost faith in lawn care companies because they just wanted your money, and did not take ownership of your lawn, Lush lawn did. My new lawn was a mess, now it looks great, not fully there yet, but I expect it will be by the end of next year . I feel I am demanding, Lush lawn thinks I'm passionate, they will be my lawn care company going forward

I hired Lush Lawn to apply grub preventative and 7 applications of weed killer and fertilizer throughout the season and also slit seeding in the fall. I saved $40 by pre-paying in advance for all services. This was approximately 3 weeks ago. They have yet to show up, after two phone calls, to even apply the first round of weed preventative and fertilizer! I'm calling today to request a full refund and go with another company. I'm anxious to see how that turns out. Never pay for anything in advance!

After posting a request for a quote for "topdressing" my lawn, through Home Advisor, I received a call from Lush Lawn in Plymouth, MI. I told the salesman what I wanted done. He fast talked me into cancelling my current lawn care service with TruGreen because the only way they could warranty the work I wanted done was to use Lush Lawn for lawn service for the rest of the year. I fell for it. During the fast talkers spiel, he never really addressed the "topdressing", even after I mentioned it a couple of times. Finally, he said, "I've got a guy..." and that he would have to send him over to review my yard before he could give me an estimate. No "guy" ever showed up, but a Lush Lawn service truck did and "supposedly" grass seed was spread. But, no topdressing. The guy that did the seeding said he knew nothing about anyone doing topdressing. Emails and phone calls to the salesman went unanswered. I was finally routed to the Sales Manager who gave me more song and dance. I cancelled the service agreement and asked for a refund of everything except the seeding that was done. More promises of the check is in the mail but no check arrived. Had to make a complaint with the BBB. Finally receive a refund, $22.50 short of what I was owed, but at least I got most of it. Very shady and unprofessional company. If you call them, watch out for the "bait and switch"!
