Lux Renovations LLC

We were searching for a contractor to perform a major remodel project. Our home is a craftsman style built in 1909. A previous owner removed the original screened rear porch and expanded it into an extra room in 1980s style compete with wall-to-wall carpet, windows that did not open, textured walls and ceiling, and light-colored thin wood trim. Our vision was to remodel the room to make it look and feel like it belonged to the rest of the house with windows that open for fresh air. Joel immediately understood what we had in mind and was very responsive, unlike others who told us what we wanted or didn't respond. The project included removing old windows and installing new, larger ones, moving the entry door, installing hardwood floors and a tile entry, installing lighting, smoothing the walls and ceiling to match the lath and plaster in the rest of the home, building a closet, and installing gas lines and framing for a freestanding gas fireplace. The craftsmen, some employees and some sub-contractors, did excellent work, showed up when they said they would, and were a pleasure to get to know. Starting a project like this a person never really knows if it will turn out the way you have in mind. We couldn't be happier with the performance and results from Joel and his crew. The photos show the finished project, the 1980s style room before starting, and they style of the rest of our home that we wanted to match.

Top notch all the way, from initial estimate done by Joel to the superb workmanship exhibited throughout entire project by Matt and Don. I had 3 decks completely redone and am very glad I went with Lux Renovations. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I am going to use Lux Renovations for future projects!
